lol sorry I like to argue a bit. And mind reading is common, just because it's somewhere else doesn't mean she coppied it. Mind reading is an old myth and it's for anybody to use. It can be called copying but it's just an ugly word to use for it. It's implying she's a cheater. No but everybody I know mentions the sparkling thing. And tons of people have fallen in love in school. That's common too. Maybe she wasn't being original with her imagination but it's still an idea of hers with how she made it come about and presented it.And also every single writter writes from there experiences. So there can't be any juding on copying or similar ideas. They all do It.

I agree, everybody should try to expand there imagination and try new ideas. Or else things in life would be boring and nothing new would come around.

i think shes kinda hot tho in the movie but could of done more for bella but didn't should of been better butoh well and i think roberts make up could of been better they aren't pail enough...

i like IRENE i just have a different oppinion and i respect hers too...

TRUE THAT I ARGEE WITH U SWEETY on that one.

doesn't mean shes a cheater it may of just came to mind just like the others who use mind reading no one said it is a cheat to use powers in a story almost everystory has something to do with a power that has been use in the past doesn't mean they copied just means they thought it fit there story... so shes not a cheat. to my oppinion at least.

thanks! i respect your opinion too cause i used to be obsessed with twilight but it turned a bit... unhealthy for me...

Thank you :)
Thank you :)
So we've distinguished the twilight vs vampire academy.
Any other books we need to put up against VA?

Oh yeah, as far as Vampy books go, Guild Hunter, Kate Daniels, Mercedes Thompson series, and Night Huntress.
Each have their own pros but the depth of character development and use of lore is wonderful. They all have stubborn ass girls who fall for a hardass guy and the two beat on each other at points, which is always an interesting relationship.
Guild Hunter pulls in the Angels and wraps an interspecies world together with vampires and human.
Kate Daniels pulls in a more contemporary look at were-creatures, vampires, and magic.
Mercedes Thompson pulls in Fay lore and much ass kicking, pain, and suffering.
Night Huntress doesn't do much in terms of tangent besides some demonology and the point of view gets a bit odd.
But in all these and VA, the characters are given struggles and suffer through life. They don't just walk by with their uberness and scoff at the worst the world throws at them. That would be so incredibly boring overtime. Characters grow and develop through the choices they make at the junctions in their lives.
That was the problem with Twilight series, especially the ending which was all, flaunt flaunt and everything simply ends and they live happily ever after. None of them grew or evolved. You never spent much time really getting to know the characters in the way you do in other good books.

exactly

I haven't heard of those books. Are they as good as VA?

Uhm... *looks at everybody else for help* I don't know how to explain how to do it, I guess I can try and check it on how to do that.
You can click on the book, scroll down till you see 'recommend book' then you click on 'friends' then you click on which friend. I will, but non the less I have taught you something :)

Lol I can see Ben Barnes playing Dimitri, to me he seems to fit the discription the best. If they could find somebody not famous to play Dimka that would be cool, but it would be harder to find someone that fits the description not famous than to just choose Ben.

Richelle tweeted it three days ago! and i kinda wanted Paul Wesley to play him!

yea! i dont really know ben barnes! but i think hes okay.
I don't know ben barnes either, which is why he's not really famous to me. He has acting experience, but not to much to where he wouldn't even try to put effort into the movie. He has been in movies, but not too many.

yea! i dont really know ben barnes! but i think hes okay."
i think that paul wouldnt play him well..idk whenever i think of him, i see him as Stefan..cant see him as Dimka but he does make a pretty good vamp!
Dimka is a book character, he's not real so we can't have a real dimka. The thing about books is the reader uses there imaginations and create what they think the world looks like in there mind (includig the characters), and the thing about imaginations is that everybody has a different one.
