I've read twilight and the VA series and I got 2 say the VA series is way better than twilight not trying to say i hate series it just doesn't have that same unique style I don't know but it kicks ass

couldn't agree with you more I totally love this series (VA series) and YES the romance is so much better than Edward and Bella's relationship, i'm not dissing twilight thou because I used to like it, but the whole point is because bella's supposed to be weak thats what made her stronger in BD, but yes Rose is awesome and way better...her characteristics are more stronger than bella's....I kinda think bella is really annoying lolz...and Dimitri seems more hotter that Edward, I don't know I think I have a weakness for The Russian God :P:P So Vampire Academy all the way for me:)

i think the hype has died down bcoz all the books are out and we know what happens and thats it.. with this we can read it over again and keep guessing abt wats gonna happen coz there r still two more books :)

It was love when they met and spent a lot of time together when they were training. Soo not like Twilight.

i agree with how bella and edward fell in love too fast which was kinda annoying as well...unlike Dimitri and Rose, I like the tension that Mead had created between the two and to spice it up, it was a teacher/student scandal so it made it that much more interesting lolz....OoOh yes I too fantasize that Dimitri whispered dirty words in my ear in Russian hahaha! nah didn't wna know that lolz

Don't get my wrong, I love both twiligh but I don't think you could compare the two. They are so different. Vampire Academy would kick butt, its so much more complicated and action packed.

There's no competition - Vampire Academy wins hands down. I would say I "hate" Twilight, but that is too strong a word for something I couldn't care less about.

For the record, I am a huge Twilight Fan as well as VA fan. Both are very good but diff books on the same genre.
Vampire Academy is an easy winner for meTwilight is not as desriptive and is plainly crap

But other then him, all the action, and heart filled moments, and you just want them to be together SO bad, always had you turning those pages till you get a paper cut, telling you to be more careful. I really like the Twilight books, but I would have to say Vampire Academy is far better. Vampire Academy is more interesting and exciting in my opinion. Bella's attitude in Twilight really annoyed me. Rose, on the other hand, was an awesome character.
i like both, but it seems like vampire academy has more of everything that twilight doesn't and in my mind, the guys in vampire academy seem hot especially dimitri
