when I get really competitive. and books. soccer also. of course, I get a not-so-natural high from sugar. I can't eat/drink anything with sugar/caffine without going totally bonkers. Also in concert season when the music just sounds so beautiful, and the under-tones are vibrating the whole room from the awesome tuning.

I know that I shouldn't be preoccupied with RPing in goodreads but when I stop I always feel tired and in a staring state.

I love that moment in some pieces of music that blows your socks off - sometimes it's small, like a certain break in the singer's voice, or a certain chord progression, or a single phrase, and suddenly it goes from being a good song to a great one - one minute you're listening casually and the next minute you're stopping whatever you're doing and closing your eyes, and something in your heart just leaps. That's my high.

after dropping my grandfather off at the airport i convinced my mom to take us spontaneously to the beach yesterday, it was awesome! we didnt stay very long but the view was spectacular. finals dont make me feel like dying anymore. theres still hope. anyways the beach by the Pacific Ocean and places like that are my high.
Ahh the ocean... If only I were a mermaid...

more like if only we didnt have to constantly worry about being swept away. the ocean is quite vicious even when it seems gentle. my friend's cousin drowned in it last year cause he went too far out, they never found him again.
o.O It's warm enough where you live to go to the beach???!!! And here I am, wearing a scarf and wool socks indoors... the injustice of it all! XD

well of course its a little chilly, and we definitely didnt go all the way into the water (just our feet) but its still warm here enough to enjoy the beach, yeah. California coastline is lovely.
yeah I get scared about being swept away too, even though I can swim. To this day I still havent submerged fully in the ocean (head to toe standing) because my father warned us about how dangerous that can be. When you're in the ocean, you can feel the earth shifting under your feet, taking you closer and closer to the middle with every wave even when you're not moving. so you have to check every few minutes if you got twenty feet farther into the ocean w/o realizing.
That...sounds terrifying. It's like the earth is a sentient being that's out to get us. O.O
but it feels so fun. thats kind of scary. its really cool though, feeling the ground move underneath you in a gentler way than earthquakes.
well its cool how beautiful it is yet its so powerful, enough to kill us, so you have to be careful as the beauty masks a danger. all of nature is.

I get high in the middle of a netball match whenever i'm about to shoot and when i'm reading.
When I pick up my cat and he nuzzles my nose. It doesn't happen often but when it does I feel like life has meaning. :P

I talk to them too.what's really interesting is that when I'm tired, I'm sleepy for like an hour or so, but then I become really hyper and I start singing and dancing and stuff like uncontrollably, and it's like what, and today I was singing this song that they taught us in like, kindergarten or something about what to do if someone is trying to kidnap you or makes you feel uncomforrtabe
