Voldemort or Umbridge?

I have to agree with a few people on here. I loathe Umbridge much more. Voldemort never was secretive about his plans, his evilness. Umbridge on the other hand is scarier in my opinion. She is someone who fakes being nice, who would be perfectly fine in the eye of many people. You would only see her true self if you spend a lot of time with her, or if you are hated by her. People like that make me feel uncomfortable. I would rather have an amazingly evil character who is quite open about it than the pink creature from hell that came in form of Dolores!

I think Voldemort is more evil. But at least he was honest about it. You knew what you could expect. Umbridge hid her evilness and you never really knew what she was up to. And that's why I despised her more.

As to who I hate more: Umbridge. She represents an oppressive government that is at root the true cause of issues within society. The ones who keep their hatred secret and when in power abuse it completely and are willing to turn a blind eye to things that don't go with their POV. At least with Voldemort you know you're getting a murderous psychopath. Umbridge is much harder to take down because taking her down doesn't eliminate the true problem which is much scarier in the long run.

Who I'd rather face in battle: Umbridge 😅 At least I'd have a chance against her. Voldemort would murder me in an instant.

Umbridge was way worse, and in my opinion, she had more depth. However, Voldemort had a crazy backstory that I really adore.

You can find people like Voldemort and Umbridge in the real world. However, Voldemort was fascinating to watch and hear. Umbridge was too close to real life.

And people will say, "Well, she didn't murder anyone." Umm...did these people forget that she had Harry attacked by Dementors? And didn't she abuse the students? AND didn't she have Hagrid attacked too?

I'm sure, if she could get away with it, she would murder people with her own wand.

Voldemort was better. He had more backstory than Umbridge. She was just evil and annoying.

I don’t like either of them but I can’t stand Umbridge. I don’t really know why but I just found her so deceiving and annoying. Voldemort’s backstory gives him a little explanation for why he’s evil but Umbridge is just plain nasty for no known reason.
