ok so i was walking in barnes and nobles looking for a new book and i came across blood red road. ok i read the back and read like the first five pages and really liked it so i bought it..duh..! anyway i went to school and during our reading time everyones eyes was on my book and you know how on the bottom of the book it says "better than the hunger games....this book will blow you away"? because hunger games was the only hottest book right now well everyone kept saying " i don't think that is better than the hunger games" or "that book sounds really bad"or"the hunger games is so better than that"or "that book looks stupid! ha its in southern to".like how bad was that comment? i know the book is southern but i read it in a regular accent and it turned out to be fine! my answer to all is shutup! you shouldn't be criticizing it ! you haven't even read the book!.that made everyone shutup.
how would you feel if you were reading a book that you really liked and everyone told you those things??

This is one of my favourite series! I went through the same thing. People would read the first few pages and critisize the writing, make fun of the characters, claim it wasn't better than hunger games. I loved it, and those people were just too close minded to realize how amazing the series really is!
