So WICKED can get their stupid blueprints. Because if they KNEW why they were there, there would be no point of them being there, basically.

adding on to emma's comment, if thomas new about wicked the results would have been changed. thomas would have known how to get out of the maze... so what would have been the point in that? also, he seemed to agree with wicked when he worked with them, but after going into the maze and suffering his thoughts on wicked changed a bunch (so, we really got to see the change in that)
