Alicia Batista (Addicted Readers) Hey Guys! Who read Graceling??? I just started to read it and it seem pretty good but slow. So what do you think about it???

Sophia I loved it. It starts slowly, but it picks up, and soon you've got this amazing plot and even better characters. Give it a chance and I'm sure it won't disappoint you. If it does, well I suppose everybody has different tastes. :D

Alicia Batista (Addicted Readers) Thanks! I'll keep going. I'm about a quarter of the way through an it's just starting to get a little hot and heavy with Katsa and Po! And the action picking up too!

Bee I agree with Chameleon. It starts off a little slow, but it picks up quickly. Graceling and Fire are both totally worth reading in my opinion. :]

I loved it! The second one,I can't remember what it is, is really great as well!

Vavita Love the book and read it evry now and then

Sophie I thought it was okay. It wasn't my favourite kind of book, but it was a good storyline.
I didn't decide to read the other books. Graceling didn't really inspire me to.

Nuran I didn't like the intro and first few chapters, felt the writing was clumsy and slow paced, but I found it got much better after that. I prefer the second book, the prequel, Fire, which was much better written and has a better plot. Graceling is the first book by this author so she lacks some experience and skill, which she develops more for her latter books.

Caraline Hello there!
Oh please oh please oh please read it!!
Its really good- you'll love the next two in the series, too!!
It's great, amazing, fun, cool....Yeah, I loved it!

Silly It is great. i think you would enjoy reading it.

Booklovingal Graceling is an awesome book. Fire is the companion book to Graceling - not a sequel. Bitterblue is the sequel to Graceling.

I know I LOVED Graceling too! I finished it an was thinking about starting "Fire" but then changed my mind because I knew it was not the sequel. But was thinking about starting "Bitterblue" I want more or Kasta and Po and of course the sweet and feisty lil Bitterblue that all grown up in Bitterblue. Did you read Bitterblue???? If so was it any good???

Booklovingal I haven't read Bitterblue yet. My son did, and told me that I should go back and reread Graceling before I read Bitterblue. It has been a while since I read Graceling. Fire is really good too. Definitely read fire when you get the chance!

Yes, it's worth reading. It's full of fun and danger.

Silly These books are great. I loved all three.

Dee I read all three books, and they are all amazing!

Abbie I liked Bitterblue the best of the three

Donna Loved Graceling and Fire! Was a little dissapointed with Bitterblue and I'm still not sure why. Probably just me being weird! ^_^

I loved the book personally but i do have to admit..it is a bit slow i guess

Samantha The Escapist Alicia please try to read Fire before you read Bitterblue! It may not be an exact sequel but it's still supposed to be read between Graceling and Bitterblue. The stories in all three books interconnect in small but important ways.

It's more subtle and a little sad, but the story is beautiful and it's not lacking in action. The writing is phenomenal compared to Graceling and the romance is perfect IMO.

also Bitterblue is, again, quite different as a novel from the other two. You should keep in mind that Bitterblue is a fantastic mystery story but it's a touch bittersweet and at times it's very detailed and a little dry, while at other times I found it almost hard to read (cause of emotions, not cause of bad writing)

Jamie LOVED IT!!!

Tamara Amazing book!

Definitely keep going, it's a great book :D

Linda G Fire was definitely my favourite of the three - even though I thought it was the most tragic. Graceling gets really, really good toward the middle. Lots of adventure and twists. It's a good thing I kept reading - because I almost put it down after the first few pages.

Estefany Medina i read fire and graceling i need to read bitterblue
