I am surprised this is your first time. I've seen your name on these boards since 2010.

Yes! I have been shying away from hosting this one but finally decided to take the plunge :)

Due to unforeseen Mom mid-term chauffeuring duties, I had to change the final date for sign-ups and posting of pairings and rules to Sunday January 27, 8 am EST. I..."

Wow, that surprises me, too! I never would have guessed based on your talking me through my first time hosting last year!

I know, I've been a member almost 3 years but never hosted this particular challenge...but I am excited!

LOL!

I'm not picky which shelves, as long as there is something new to tempt me.
Could you mention in my post that I do not want any m/m picks this time , I already have lots picked out from last month's PIFM and don't want anymore.

Sure Karen, no problem :)

I will post the rules first and then tackle the pairings. Bear with me, it may take me a little bit to post the pairings.

Britt, since I don't know your cherry preference I put you in the 'don't like' category.

Sorry, Emily, I just hadn't updated the list yet. But it's updated now and the pairings should be posted in a little while....almost ready!

Katie, because we have two of you with the same name, I have you as katieG for the pairings.

The 'Does Not Cherries' Group will be posted in a minute...message #6

Hi Angela, looks like I'm picking for you this time. It's 10 PM here in my part of the world and I'm off to bed soon. I'll work on your picks in 12 hours after sending hubby off to work. Thanks for your patience!

1. Recommend a Romance with a virginal character: To Tame A Highland Warrior - You liked the first in this series & her Fever books and the highlander books only get better and better.
2. Recommend a New Author: Unholy Ghosts by Stacia Kane This is my favorite UF series!
3. Choose a Romance with a Red Hot cover: Hot Head - can’t talk about hot cover without mentioning this book
4. Recommend a title that has been getting some Red Hot Buzz: Gone Country - I was planning on this one next month (especially if it's in the Feb promo in BN) Wanna do a buddy read?
5. Sweet- Recommend a Friends to Lovers story: My Summer of Wes - SUCH a cute & sweet & romantic story.
6. Tart- Choose a title with a prostitute as a main character: Fifteen Shades of Gay - I own this one too but haven’t read it, I saw it on the Gay Rent Boys list so I'm hoping it fits here!
7. Recommend a Romance with a hunky, outdoorsman hero or a book set in the wilderness/woods: This one is hard! The only book I can think of is Red+Blue. I don’t remember much about it (except for the camping) but I did give it 4 stars.
8. Choose a title with a bad boy hero with a heart of gold. Maybe he is just misunderstood: Demon from the Dark This one of the best in the series! I love Kresley Cole.

1. Recommend a Romance with a virginal character
Crossing Borders (The Cover is skeevy, but the story is fabulous)
2. Recommend a New Author- the author can come from their shelves or yours, as long as the author is new to them.
Cut & Run (My first M/M, got me addicted)
3. Choose a Romance with a Red Hot cover
Hot Head
4. Recommend a title that has been getting some Red Hot Buzz- a new release, something everyone is talking about. Here is a shelf you may want to check out for some inspiration... To Die For
Bear, Otter, and the Kid (another crappy cover hiding an excellent story)
5. Sweet- Recommend a Friends to Lovers story
Faith & Fidelity (Sad and powerful at the same time. I love this series.. )
6. Tart- Choose a title with a prostitute as a main character, or a book set in the food industry
George Washington said "I cannot tell a lie...I chopped down the cherry tree."
Shattered Glass
7. Recommend a Romance with a hunky, outdoorsman hero or a book set in the wilderness/woods
All Bets Are Off (there is also a free holiday novella from the author)
8. Choose a title with a bad boy hero with a heart of gold. Maybe he is just misunderstood....
Zero at the Bone

Vi,
I have to give you a big thank you!! I used your wonderful excel spreadsheet for the sign-ups and pairings and it helped so much!! My hubby helped me do it, because as I told you, I am not tech savvy (at all!). Thanks again for the great tool!
