Well, I finally finished our "buddy read" and I agree that there wasn't much relationship development - and while the sex was hot, I actually got to the point where I was thinking "again? really???" about all of the almost public, could get caught anytime sex, especially when such a big deal was made about how it could ruin her career if they were caught together. I still liked the book though, and definitely plan on reading the next book in the series. Thanks for reading it with me, even if we didn't manage to read it together this time! :)
Finally got around to reading
. This is my second PIFM book of the month. Thanks for the push to scratch this one off my list.

I really felt like that was blown out of proportion as well. This one definitely wasn't as good as the first. I read book three already (it's what prompted me to read book one) and I think you'll like that better than this one. I may end up reading it again now that I've read the first two and see if it changes my opinion of the book.

"I agree that the secret was blown out of proportion, especially since (view spoiler), but I can understand why they felt the need to hide it at first, and how something like that can get harder and harder to talk about as time goes on. It does seem like he could have done a lot more good by coming clean and telling his story on his own once his career was established, rather than waiting until the issue was forced.
I'm glad to hear you liked the last book, I'm looking forward to it!
Just finished my first book
and sadly I didn't enjoy it. The book is quite badly written with bad editing. I will be reading
as my second book from the pick.
I finished another book from the wonderful picks Sassafrass made! This time I read Sweet Addiction. I liked it, but I didn't love it. I think it was the heroine, she was crying through the whole dang book! Either way, I am really glad I finally read it - thanks for the motivation!
Elizabeth I finished my third pick Tuesday.
was a fun read and I liked Claire as a character. I could even understand Nicole's behavior. I ended up giving it only 3.5 stars because their treatment of Jesse drove me crazy. Claire has been on the receiving end of Nicole's judgement and she still didn't listen to Jesse. (view spoiler) Despite this, I enjoyed it and will be reading more in this series.I already started in on my 4th pick.

I just finished my third pick, Under the Never Sky. It took me a whole to get into, however by the end it was hard to put down. I don't know if I will read the second book in the series. It was just an ok book. I think the idea of what type of world they lived in was a bit to far fetched for me. Any way on to the next book.. Maybe a buddy read for this one!!
I finally had a chance to read my first pick,
, and I really liked it. Thanks for the recommendation Suzanne! I don't know if I'll get to any of the others on my list this month, but this one was great.
ElizabethI finished
. I bought the first 6 books a while back from the Wally World sale bins; I just needed a push to start this series.
Sandy, I finished my third pick The Seduction of Elliot McBride and it was a great continuation of the series. I always enjoy Jennifer Ashley.I'm still listening to my fourth (I think this is the most I've read for a PIFM :)) book Outlander and... WOW! It is SO good, I find myself sitting in the car in the parking lot at work not wanting to get out! I say this now because I'm about a third of the way through and I don't think I'll be done before March. But I can tell it's probably going to be a 5 star read. Jamie is ADORBZ!
Thanks for the GREAT picks my fellow Raccoon! ;)
finished my 4th and 5the PIFM:
and
I heart Kele Moon and can't wait for the 3rd book. I've been obsessed with MMA lately, so thanks for the push, Katie!
Anew has a great premise and, even though it wasn't perfect, I still have the next one on my TBR. :)
Really glad to hear you liked the Kele Moon one, Ty! I've been wanting to read that series, so this pushes it up my to-buy list. :)

Breann, I am so happy to hear you are liking Outlander! It is my favorite series of all time...it gets better and better! I am re-reading in anticipation for book 8, due this Fall I hope!
I loved
was very good story , i gave it 5 stars , can't wait for Crash Into You (Isaiah's story) .And i read
liked both of the stories , really funny and so hot , gave it 4 stars .
Nikita, I've been thoroughly enjoying your picks. So far I've read...1. Playing for Keeps ~ 2/8 ✯✯✯
2. Never Love a Highlander ~ 2/13 ✯✯✯½
3. Wild Man ~ 2/16 ✯✯✯✯
I'm currently reading Beautiful Creatures and I still have at least The Perfect Play on my list this month. If I can, I'll fit it more :-)
ElizabethI finished
. All the miscommunications between Marissa & Butch were more annoying than anything else, but I kept reading to find out how events at the beginning were going to affect Butch. Definitely enjoyed the plot more than the romance on this one, but it was still a good read.

ok ~KarenH~Here's what I've read so far:
--so yummy! PUN definitely intended. LOL I'm really enjoying this series. Plus even better, I've got an ARC for the 3rd book in the series, so I'm going to be reading that soon. :)
--such a cute story. I love when unrequited love is finally realized. But it also has menage in it when makes the story even better. I know you said that you wanted to read this series, and I really think you should. Eve Langlais knows how to blend the erotic with the perfect amount of snark. I love laughing with my smexy books.
--OMG, what a great recommendation. I totally fell in love with Mick. You were so right, he was definitely a misunderstood bad boy. I was very surprised at how good (not to mention STEAMY) this was. I'm definitely going to continue with this series. Thanks again for this rec!
--Not sure how I feel about this one. While I thought the concept was hot, the execution didn't do it for me that much. I just couldn't related to heroine not knowing who she had in her bed. But it was super hot. So, as I saw I'm mixed on that one. But, you know, I'm still going to continue with that series.
--another rec that was right on! I loved this. How great was Pia at handling Dragos. Such a great series, I just fell into it. Thanks for the great rec. And even though I need another series like I need a hole in my head, I'm going to continue with this one. I won't be able to stay away!
--great buddy read. I really did enjoy this one. It was such a sweet friends to lovers story
--I didn't like this one as much as I liked the first book. Dom's secret was the big shocker I was expecting, and I didn't see much relationship development beyond them having LOTS of hot sex.
--sweet story. I really loved these two. I loved how they were just meant to be right from the get go. No needing to explore other things, or being too young. They.were.it. I really love Amy Lane, so I'm glad I read this one.
--I am currently listening to this one. I hope I finish before the end of the month, but it's a long audiobook (20.5 hours) so it's taking me a while. So far it's ok.

I'll look forward to hearing what you thought of Gabriel's Inferno - I've been hearing so much about it lately, and I have the audio on my short list, too.
I finished my first pick Bared to you and really liked it. I really need to get the rest of this trilogy so that I can read it stat! I gave it 5 stars. I am going to read Marked for my second pick for this month's challenge.

Kristi (passion for the page),I just finished Sugar Daddy and LOVED it! It had been on my TBR for quite a while, and I don't know why I put it off, but now I am sorry I didn't read it sooner because it was so good. Thank you so much for the nudge to read it!
I am hoping to have enough time to read P.S.I Love You before the end of the month if I can, also.
Thanks again for great recs!
Hi Gigi,Finished my second book this month

I just finished
, my third read from Breann's awesome picks. I LOVED it. So sweet, romantic, and hot too. Just a beautiful story of a slightly broken HS senior and the older guy who moves in across the street and changes his life.
I finished my second (and probably last) pick for the month, Wicked Games. It was a quick, fun read and I liked it a lot. Thanks for the pick, Laura...and thanks for the loan, Fran!

So glad you liked it, Nancy. I put off reading Sugar Daddy, too, until someone else picked it for me and I had the same reaction you did! Great book....
Sassafrass, I finished my fifth pick this month! I read Keeping Promise Rock and I really liked it - it was an emotional ride with very likable characters who completely deserved their HEA! I think I might be able to read another one or maybe even two before the month is done!

I would have listened to it, but I'm not making a lot of progress in audiobooks these days and there was another book I wanted to listen to more. Yeah, I've managed about 15 minutes of that one... I'm actually looking forward to physical therapy (or at least getting out of the house!) so I can get back to listening more! Soon...
