Really enjoying reading this, feels like a weekly TV-series with the updates coming (almost) weekly :).Terpkristin, I'd say give it a try, it's really fun. I also freaked out when it got to be my turn, but now after, I'm enjoying it alot.

Terpkristen, if email is fine, just not google docs, perhaps someone could email you the story so far, and then you could email your bit to be added?
Well I'm still freaked out but email also won't work. Dealing with some work crises, checking personal email and this forum I'm between meetings on my phone. :/I have a feeling I'll be working 16 hour days straight thru Thursday night, when I leave for PAX East and zero bandwidth.
Can someone swap with me so I can do it in a week or 2 when things have calmed down?

There, my section's done now! I agree with Pouria, it's tricky streamlining all your ideas into 600 word chapter (speaking if which, I think I might be little bit over that limit). That and trying to reference books you've read for ideas without it being apparent in your work. Enjoy!

The story is looking really interesting though! I've been following it off-and-on since I posted my section 2nd, & I can honestly say it has taken several unexpected directions. Can't wait to see how it ends up!

I posted the first page of a story and asked everyone to send in the next 200 - 300 words and then I publish the best one. We then repeat until the story is done. If you want to participate or even start your own story you should check it out.
This go around is closed, unfortunately. I just wanted to have a clear ending date so the writers know where they're at and know when to start concluding the story.

Finally got around to catching up on the story. It's as bumpy as you would expect from this sort of thing, but reads pretty nicely, all in all, and it's cool seeing what everyone has done with each other's ideas. I'd love it if the double dare to Veronica worked, and she finished it, but however, I look forward to seeing how it ends.
I was all psyched to get to work on the story this weekend, but my town had flood and all of us town hall employees are busy helping with the clean up. So I look forward to seeing how James wraps it up.
James- you should have access. Make us proud.

I read through it a month ago and it was surprisingly quite fluid, given all the different voices.
Starting next Tuesday (3/26ish) or so things should get more normal. I hope.
