Unable to merge authors

I am trying to merge Nāgārjuna into Nāgārjuna -- I cut'n'paste, and they aren't picked up as the same name to be merged. Can someone else get this one?

I got it, Cait.

Was playing around and decided to try this...I edited the single book profile to change the author name to just Nagarjuna, then went and re-edited it with a copy and paste of the name on the main profile (Nāgārjuna) and voila, it worked.

Can't say why it did, LOL, but it did :)
