What a cute pic! I think the best past is their adaptability. They can eat anything and live in the most deplorable conditions. I have had 3 Painted turtles, 2 of them live caught (they are not endangered), one of which used to hang out under my leg in the baby pool. Painteds are extremely social with people. My first tattoo was a life-sized bb sea turtle. I am such a geek!

Yep. After I got my Associate's degrees. I like the symbolism of the journey they go through.
my favorite kind of turtles are sea turtles.
I think it's cool that turtles have survived everything. Turtles were around when the dinosaurs were here, and they are still here today.

I have a red eared slider turtle. His names Darwin!
He's in a 20 gallon long tank... He's still pretty small only about 3-4 inches. He has a heater,basking dock, a basking light, and river rocks. He also has a plant he adores. He sleeps in it. I was wondering would it be okay once summer rolls around could I let him walk in my yard? With my supervision of course..
My favorite part about turtles is their facial expressions! I know my turtle has a one for tank cleaning time,eating time, and me moving his plant so he con rearrange the tank.
