Does anybody know if Amazon has an issue with including a free book in a bundle (that is not free)?

If they do, they haven't said anything to me. I did the bundle thing with my first three Adelheid books and haven't met any issue.

Three books in a single manuscript. As far as I know, for Amazon and B&N at least, you can't set discounts for multiple purchases.
Eventually, I plan to have two compilations (of 3 books each) for $5.99, then one complete compilation for $9.99.

Definitely good to know. I didn't think they would have a problem. Many people have released an omnibus. That's what I'm working on at the moment. For the price of what many popular authors charge, you will be able to get all three of my books, plus a related short story, too. :)
