I've been listening to Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln recently and noticed that it's listed as an audio CD rather than as an audiobook. I checked the Librarian manual but couldn't find any discussion explaining the difference. Can someone educate me?

My interpretation of both terms as used here goes as follows: Audio CDs are audiobooks but those in a certain format, whereas "audiobook" covers the audiobook formats not explicitly mentioned. In my experience digital editions (eg. mp3 or audible downloads) usually go into the "audiobook"-category.

Yes, a similar argument to this recent one about DAISY format audiobooks but with the added suggestion of using the specific format details as the edition (except where there is a specific edition described).http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...
