I read a romance novel years ago! It was set in Ireland and I am pretty sure the name of the main character was Marissa. She meets an Irish rebel and it turns out her father had stolen land/money from his father.

This is driving me crazy!

Meghan--can you remember anything else about the book? That's really general, and I'm sure that there are a LOT of books with the same story line. How long ago did you read it? Was it romance, adventure or bodice ripper? Do you remember anything about the cover?

A goodreads use was able to identify it as Nightwylde by Kimberleigh Caitlin (Thanks Amber!)

It seems to not be a popular book which is why I had trouble finding it.
