I am a fan now of live actions/doramas, but it seems no one here is? At least I asked for suggestions and never got a reply :(And maybe (that is my opinion only) reading 3 mangas in a month is too much; maybe just 2? Cuz I noticed that there are almost no reviews/opinions of the MRs...
I have been wanting to check doramas out, but don't have the time. I know they're pretty poplar. Sorry if I never replied. This past month has been super crazy and I haven't been very active. But, I'm back and I'm going to try to be as active as I can.
Are you taking about the number of volumes we read for each series, or the amount of series in general? We don't ask everyone to read all of the series or volumes. We have 4 different series for variety. If you're not interested in one series, you can read one of the others. You can read as many or as few as you like. We offer the opportunity to read 3 volumes to those members that read more than one volume of a series at a time. At this point, Kristen and I are trying to come up with ways to make the group better, since we've had so little activity.

Yeah. 30 minutes or so for manga, verses between an hour to two for a movie. I was really looking forward to this Month, but then things got crazy. Granted, there's still time left in the month, but I still haven't fixed my laptop. I'm currently using my Kindle.

You could do the MWs as a seasonal thing. That would give people more time to watch. More options would probably be a good idea, too.

You could post them as an FYI, but it might be difficult to make them MWs if you go with a seasonal watch instead... Maybe add a discussion for "compare the anime and manga for this MR!" or something like that.
Different themes might prove easier as well, especially if you make the MWs per season. While some themes (romance) are easy to find anime for, others (takes place in spring) are a little harder (because a lot of anime span a large time period and movies it can be tough to tell).
Thanks for your ideas, Selena. I like the idea of having a seasonal MW. It gives everyone a better chance of being able to watch them. I'm thinking of having a theme for every season and having multiple movies/series for each season to give variety.
