This quote shows a faint glimpse into the extent of corruption capable of being conjured up by a single Pakistani agent. It briefly describes his psychopathic mind and the amount of power he is entitled. It also hints at how he was involved in the mysterious suicide of Ali Shigri's father.
An adequate symbol for this chapter would be Ali's father hanging lifelessly from a ceiling fan. This is a relevant picture paved thickly onto this chapter. The mysterious circumstances surrounding his father's untimely suicide are a heavy cause of suspicion. Something like this must only have been orchestrated by the higher ups, who had much to gain from this venture.
