I read a lot of sci-fi and dystopian novels but I think I've blasted through all the good ones. I've already read The Chaos Walking, Gone, Divergent, Maze Runner, and Hunger Games series. Anyone have some recommendations?
I'm about to start reading
Somebody Come And Play. A book I've been meaning to read since I was 19, but could never find until I went into the Salvation Army...and there it was.

Yesterday I finished reading Beautiful Creatures
(5 stars) I loved that bookI am now reading Kongens Død
^^^Insurgent is even betterI'm on a reading hiatus. The last thing I probably read outside of class was Gone or The Hobbit. I feel really weird if I don't read a book over a stretch of time--almost like withdrawal :(
Can any recommend something?
I just finished Dork Diaries#4 and I gave it 5 stars now I'm reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid#3 The Last Straw

Do you like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone so far?

I'm reading The Black Prism by Brent Weeks. It's the first in a series, so it's mostly setting up the story, but it's really intriguing and hard to put down.
I'm reading nine stories by J.D. Salinger

How is it so far? I've been wanting to pick that up for awhile.

Olivia ~ Not too bad...it's kinda cool the way the characters overlap from the Percy Jackson series. I just started it today & I'll probably have it finished by tonight since I only have about 200 pages left...Lol. After I finish it though, I'm not sure what I'll read next.
I'm reading Marked (House of Night #1). I've heard mixed reviews about it, but I decided to give it a try. I'm about halfway through. We'll see how it goes.
I'm starting Gone by Michael Grant for the second time. I began reading it a few months ago but stopped partway through the book out of boredom. I, going to try and make it all the way through this time.
Pride and Prejudice is one I've been reading for a while! It's really good when I get into it, but it's been difficult to make myself actually open the book for some reason! I'm about halfway through though. I'm also reading their eyes are watching God and Keeping the Moon.
I'm reading A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin, sequel to A Game of Thrones. Completely in love with this series and would recommend it to anyone!
I've got a whole thing planned out for me right now. I'm finishing up the Mysterious Benedict Society series (including the prequel), and I'm reading Hunger from the Gone series right now. Then I'm going to read Insurgent. Then I'll finish up the Gone and the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series and start Beautiful Creatures and Maximum Ride after those. And I might add some singles if I have a gap between getting the books.
A must read. I found this author b/c I saw a publication about him writing fiction to raise awareness on "not so talked about" subjects. It has created much controversy over the topic so I just had to read it myself and find out what all the hype was about-- I just finished
WOW. I didn't think it was too graphic at all. Disturbing, yes-- but shouldn't it be?! I found little to no profanity, which was nice for a change. Gritty, emotionally close and riveting! It is a psychological thriller about a family who must overcome the unthinkable. Some of the best character development I have ever read. Not for the faint of heart, but you have to read it till the end....great ending where the hunter become the hunted! Boldly written and I can't wait to read his next.
