Amy C. | 23 comments Olivia ~ Not too bad...it's kinda cool the way the characters overlap from the Percy Jackson series. I just started it today & I'll probably have it finished by tonight since I only have about 200 pages left...Lol. After I finish it though, I'm not sure what I'll read next.

message 100: by KyleB (new)

KyleB | 2 comments A must read. I found this author b/c I saw a publication about him writing fiction to raise awareness on "not so talked about" subjects. It has created much controversy over the topic so I just had to read it myself and find out what all the hype was about-- I just finished First Night of Summer by Landon Parham WOW. I didn't think it was too graphic at all. Disturbing, yes-- but shouldn't it be?! I found little to no profanity, which was nice for a change. Gritty, emotionally close and riveting! It is a psychological thriller about a family who must overcome the unthinkable. Some of the best character development I have ever read. Not for the faint of heart, but you have to read it till the end....great ending where the hunter become the hunted! Boldly written and I can't wait to read his next.
