Hi! I teach students aged 11-18 in an international school in Europe - 80 nationalities all speaking English.

It's all quite free and easy, actually, with loads of choice. But my favourite has to be Shakespeare because there's just so much in it. But I also like teaching poetry, because my students always expect to hate it - and are often pleasantly surprised!

Yipes, information overload! I am new here and feeling a bit frazzled as the Sabbath comes down. But onward! I have been writing and reading since I learned the alphabet. I wrote my first book in junior high (tho it was never published!) I love YA, coming of age novels, and books that keep you turning the pages, even to the point where you have the flashlight under the blankets so as not to disturb anyone. I am an author (go figure!) and I write YA novels about kids coming of age and every chapter ends in a cliffhanger....hmm, all the things I love to read, I also write about! I'm currently reading Fahrenheit 451, but that's for class, though I'm liking it so far. I just finished Cinder today and I'm about to start on the third in the Percy Jackson series, The Titan's Curse.
My favorite author is Lauren Oliver and I can't choose my favorite book. I can pick my top ones though. It would be a tie between The Hunger Games trilogy, the Divergent trilogy, The Chemical Garden trilogy, Delirium, the Wondrous Strange trilogy (though I'm still working on ordering the last one, it's acting screwy), or The Winner's Curse.
