vicki_girl | 2764 comments The books have been combined. (Merge means to delete one of the editions and merge them into a single entry.)

Chris Ogle (cwogle) | 2 comments Ahem. Yes. Combined. That's exactly what I meant to say.

:) Thanks

Open Road Media (openroadmedia) | 3 comments I need help merging an author with their pseudonym. Stephen Solomita and David Cray. I'm running into problems because one version of a book (Bad Lawyer) is under Solomita, the other under Cray. Thanks for your help!

message 5: by Cait (new)

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments Open Road, these author profiles should not be merged. They are both valid author names.

I'll combine the editions.

Please do NOT ever merge an author name with their pseudonym, as that will undo hours of other librarians' work. If you link to the specific editions, someone can help you add additional/primary authors as needed.

message 7: by Hanna (new)

Hanna | 7 comments On goodreads I found the author of "Coffee Prince" under three different names:

http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

She is Korean and therefor the transcription of her name is not unambiguous, but the most common writing is Lee Sun Mi, where Lee is the last name.

vicki_girl | 2764 comments The only edition of her book that I could find that used the romanized version of her name was the Indonesian edition which used "Sunmi Lee". I have merged all romanized versions to use that spelling.

Sharon Milligan (laceydearie) | 3 comments Oh, now the reviews for one of the editions are gone. Is that what happens?

They're not really gone. But it can take a day or two for the cache to catch up.
