I was shocked when Ruestock popped back up. He's always so creepy!
I'm glad Tamri went with Ela to the Tracelands, she's a hoot and so feisty.
Something serious must be going on in Parne for the Infinite to have it destroyed. All this business about smuggling those ores is very fishy and so is the fact that they had forbidden Ela entrance. I hope the city will get their act together and repent. Adair-iyr as well. Just from the brief glance we got it seems to be an awful place.
It's good to see Kien growing in his faith. I think by the end of the book he could be a force to be reckoned with, like Ela.

Can you think of anything else to discuss in this section?

Don't worry about the long response times. I'm currently working long hours as well. :)
Can't think of anything else to discuss for this section. So let's move on to the next 10 chapters.

Pet is still my favorite character! I love love love that destroyer!
My mind's a bit fuzzy at the moment on the events in this section though.

Pet will always be my favorite I think! He just so great! I like that we're getting to meet Jon and Bekka's destroyers too.
There are some things that have happened in this section that I'm still in the dark about but I think that's how it's supposed to be. I am fuzzy on some of the events that I think we're supposed to understand too though.
I'm glad that Ela's father isn't involved in the smuggling but Parne seems to be in some deep trouble. I hope they can come out of it but I'm not sure.
This city Kien is in seems really bad, I'm glad that at least someone has listened to his warning.

I think Ela's father has been targeted because he's the father of the Prophet.

I was shocked to see that there were Deceivers in Parne! Ugh, they're terrifying!
I'm starting to like Matron Prill though. She's a lot different than I first thought.

I actually finished the book the other day. While it didn't grip me like Prophet, I still enjoyed it. For some reason, this one was harder for me to get into.
