started 1-22-131-24-13: Really enjoying this book. I've actually added most of his music to my iPod. I'd forgotten how much I loved his music in the 70s. Takes me back to my time on Midway Island. One of the happiest periods of my childhood. smn

I did read recently that he is writing a sequel to the book and also that it is being made into a series by HBO. They've committed to 2 or 3 seasons, I think. Thank you for taking the time to look at my feed. Best wishes.
No problem I'm new to groups on GR so I'm having fun exploring. Is this the first of his you've read? Pick up Anansi Boys if you can't wait for the sequel. It follows on from the Anansi character as you may be able to tell. I've still to read it as I loaned it to my brother quite a while ago.

Jumping in is fine. :) I don't know anything about a release date or a title for the new book. I just did a quick google search and found nothing beyond a few things he's said about the new book and the HBO series based on the first book. Hopefully more info will be forthcoming soon. I haven't read Neverwhere, yet, but have downloaded the BBC series it's based on.
- Started 1-29-2013. Found this while browsing. It's an internet book (although a hard copy can be purchased, something gets lost in translation). The book takes place on the London Underground. Each train will hold 252 passengers + the driver = 253. Each passenger and the driver each have one page. Each page has 253 words. Pretty straight-forward and I'm enjoying thusfar. Pretty quick read.
