Archer smiled,"Um well....Since he was quiet small" He answered.Cass smiled,"Come on please?" She asked.
"I'll try," Gabe said."Same with Cass," Dessare said.
Archer smiled,"Awesome"Cass smiled and hugged him,"Thank you" She mused.
Gabe waited for Cass to start first.Dessare just kind of nodded awkwardly. It had been so long since she had a conversation with someone other than Cass.
Archer thought for a moment,"Have you encountered anyone?...I mean trying to get to Cassidy?"Cass began to sing the tune.
Gabe quietly started singing along."Tons," Dessare said. "That's what I'm here for, right?"
Archer nodded,"Yeah that's what we are for"Cass smiled and continued to sing.
Gabe got more bold as the song went on.Dessare glanced back at the two kids. "They're really hitting it off, aren't they?"
Archer nodded as he glanced at them as well,"Yes they are"Cass was happy hearing him sing with more meaning.
Gabe grinned over at Cass.Dessare looked back at the road ahead.
Archer looked at the ground unsure of anything else to say.Cass smiled back,And sang the last part.
Gabe laughed. "That was fun."Dessare brushed the hair out of her eyes.
Archer looked at her,"So how did you become a protector?"Cass smiled,"Yes it was"
Gabe smiled again."A lot of things transpired," Dessare said. "I was chosen to be her protector, but was never told why."
Archer nodded,"Yeah i know the feeling" He answred.Cass started skipping along.
"She gives me something to live for, at last." Dessare said.Gabe skipped along side her.
Archer nodded again,"Yes same about Gabe"
Cass giggled,"Yay"
Dessare looked behind at them, smiling.Gabe walked along, happily.
Archer glanced at them and smiled.Cass smiled,And continued to skip,
Dessare began to see the inn in the distance.
Archer did as well,"Well alot quicker then i thought"Cass starting humming a tune again.
Dessare nodded.Gabe looked up at a hawk flying over.
Archer walked toward the inn,His eye studying everything around them.Cass saw the hawk also.
Dessare kept her hand on the hilt of her sword. They hadn't met very good reception in some of the places like this that they'd gone in, so she liked to be careful."I wonder what kind it is?" Gabe said.
Archers hand was on his dagger as well.Cass thought for a moment,"It's a red tailed hawk" She smiled.
Dessare's eyes scanned horizon.Gabe grinned.
Archer approached the Inn.Cass smiled brightly,"Bet ya didn't know i knew that" She teased.
Dessare approached slowly. "Stay close," she told Cass.Gabe laughed. "I bet you didn't know I did either," he said. I always like to test people.
Archer glanced at Gabe,"The same goes for you" He muttered.Cass nodded to Dessare,She then wrinkled her nose and stuck her tongue out at Gabe,"Well then what is the name of a flightless bird?"

Dessare cautiously opened the door to the inn."It depends on which one you're talking about," Gabe grinned. "There's ostrich and penguin."
Archer held the door open for them after Dessare opened the door.Cass shook her head and smiled,"I didn't mean ether,The dodo bird" She smirked happily.
Dessare went in and went to the counter.Gabe laughed. "You got me that time," he said.
Archer glanced at the two then followed Dessare.Cass smiled,"Yay!"
"Two rooms," Dessare said to the innkeeper.Gabe stayed close to Archer.
Archer was beside Dessare,He watched the surroundings as Gabe was by his side.Cass was beside Dessare,She looked around.
As Dessare waited for him to get their keys, she looked around the room. She didn't much like the looks of the place. It was pretty vacant except for a couple drunks and a mysterious figure in the corner.Gabe looked around, too.
Archer spotted the figure in the corner,He asked if they could hurry up with the keys.Cass was hidden behind Dessares legs.
The inkeeper finally found them and handed them to Dessare. She put the coins on the counter, took Cass's hand, and headed for the staircase.
Archer let Gabe go in front of his so he could keep a eye on him.Cass held her hand,She glanced around and smiling small at Gabe,She took his hand,"So no one will take you" She said as she held his hand.
"He gave us adjoining rooms," Dessare said, unlocking one of the doors.Gabe grinned.
Archer smiled small seeing Gabe and Cass getting along,He nodded hearing Dessare.Cass smiled.
Dessare opened the door and went in first, making sure it was secure. Gabe watched.
Archer followed his hand on his dagger."I think they worry to much" Cass whispered.
Dessare opened the closet door and then checked under the bed before giving the 'all clear.'"Yeah," Gabe said.
Archer nodded,"Same here" He said walking into the room where she was.Cass smiled small,"They need to relax"
It was already starting to get dark outside. "We should probably get some supper for the kids," Dessare said.Gabe nodded.
Archer nodded,"Think they have any food here?"Cass let go of Gabes hand and darted to the bed,She bounced on it giggling.
Dessare glanced over at Archer. "How long have you been with Gabe?" She asked, trying to start up a conversation. She'd never been good with the like.
