Here's a pic from Google: https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...

Oh, yum. I can almost taste the asparagus. Great veggie!

I will be going back since along with the manicure/pedicure there was a one-hour massage included with the gift. Thought I'd check out the place first.

:)

Now that she's got Tango, I hope Topaz drops dead. That horse has been a black hole for money & misery for far too long. She'll be sad, but she's the only one.

I didn't get anything done I had planned today. A raccoon got into a transformer at work & blew up our electric, so I had to go in & fix all the servers & replace over half a dozen UPS plus fix a couple of computers so they'd be ready to go Monday. Then I got home & wound up taking asparagus around to some of the neighbors & wound up chatting. Not very productive, but a nice day.

Have a relaxing day - leave the household to do list for another day!

Hoping to go to the gym around 9am. Then home, shower and go to work.
Look forward to sitting out on deck when I get home before we make dinner. Think my husband is cooking tonight.
Life is good!

Nina, tell your husband happy birthday & I'm glad he can still deal with the plumbing.
I had a rough evening. Thought I'd mow more of the lawn while waiting for Josh to come help me move the fish pond. Mowed for 20 minutes or so & the mower started to die. I'm hoping it's just a bad spark plug. Just had similar issues with my little chainsaw & a new plug fixed it.
Turning the manure/dirt pile wasn't a good idea. I had to get some more dirt for landscaping around where the pond is going & got too much manure. It will break down into dirt in a year or so, but shrinks when it does that. Might make a real mess of the pond since it is going to rely on stable dirt for the stream feeding it.
We got quite a bit done, anyway. The pond is moved, a much easier job than we expected. It's in place with the dirt roughly in place around it. Filled it up & I'm letting it sit & settle. I left the old dirt, lily, snails, & a lily in there. It takes a while for a pond to establish itself, but this is a really good starter. I hope to finish up most of it tonight, but I'll see. I still have to fill the old hole & figure out what I'm doing with that area. I was thinking of a small evergreen bush. It can't get more than a few feet high, though.
Is anyone familiar with small-leaf holly bushes? I don't know the Latin name or variety. I'd like to place them in front of the porch where I pulled 3 others. I was thinking 1 or 2 in place of the old fish pond might not be bad, either. Thoughts?

So far one fish has died, but we don't know why. It was the prettiest, fanciest one & looked healthy. There were some tulips, hyacinths, & such that I didn't find while digging. Not sure if they'll come up next year or if they got buried too deep.
When the project is done, I'll post pictures in a Facebook album showing the whole thing. It's been a lot bigger project than I thought.
