Who believes Cassandra Clare should have just ended the series on this book. I love her books; however, in my opinion she tends to drag a lot during the series. I thought it would have been a perfect ending at city of glass there was no reason to continue. I have read all the books in the series and my favorite was the city of glass and I wished she ended the series there because it would have been a great ending to an trilogy. So anyways what are your thoughts?

Ghitte I only read the first 3 books because the fourth isn't translated yet into my language. But for me, this book has a perfect ending. Almost everything fell into place at the end of this book and I honestly don't want it to continue... Maybe I should not read the next books..?

*~*~~*~reading~**~till~**~forever*~~*~* The third book felt like the perfect ending but to be honest the "good ones" won too easily. In the new books the characters have the chance to grow and the true colors of everyone start to show. They are absolutely amazing and you are going to love City Of Lost Souls. Please, please read the whole series, you will be surprised of what can happen!

Probably I can't resist the temtation once it comes out but I'm just scared that the storyline becomes too long and I start disliking it...
(I think i made some spellingmistakes here xd)

Brittney Honestly, I agree with you. I wish it had just ended at City of Glass. The fourth book was absolutely dreadful, and the fifth I couldn't even finish. The new trilogy seems to be so recycled, and honestly, ENOUGH with the Shadowhunter world already.

I get that Cassie has a good thing going, and she likes the world and the demand is high enough, but why over do something, when less is more? I won't be reading City of Heavenly Fire, and honestly, I will NOT be reading the Dark Artifices either. Enough is enough already.

*~*~~*~reading~**~till~**~forever*~~*~* NO NO NO, that is soooooo not true! The story seems to be recycled???? nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I have read the city of lost souls; however, I still loved city of glass the most!

I completely understand I also am a bit tired of the way she seems to be dragging the whole series.

If you want a happy ending just stop at city of glass thats what I should have done. I just don't like the rest and its dragging and getting extremely boring in my perspective now. But I know your probably curious to see what happens to everyone so I guess read the rest if you want. I just don't like the rest of the books

I think City of Glass is by far the best of 5 TMI books. Still... as much as I loved the ending, some things were left unanswered, like what the Seelie Queen was referring to with her offer to Clary, and I wonder if Jace's resurrection is that simple. No one could mess up with some celestial 'game' and live without any consequences.

I read City of Fallen Angels, for I love Jace. I feel it is the worst book of TMI. It is more a Simon's book than the continuity of City of Glass, with some tortures befallen Jace.
CC also admitted that she did mean to write a novella about Simon, and didn't have any thought of writing the next TMI trilogy, then she changed her mind.
Many fans loved this, including myself. As devastating as I feel while reading this book, I was expecting its released date excitedly.

I think City of Lost Souls is way better than City of Fallen Angels. I really enjoyed reading it and it has exceeded my expectation. Why? For I read City of Lost Souls only because I wanted to know what CC is going to do with Jace. I am glad I continued reading the series.

I am looking forward reading City of Heavenly Fire.

If you think you can not go on with the throwing, cursing and killing someone moments while reading City of Fallen Angels, then I suggest you just stop at City of Glass.

Tayla Potayta As soon as i finished this book i thought the same thing, but after reading the next two i still loved them

that and what each character is prepared to do for those he/she loves the most and how they all seem to change as things get more difficult and of course we learn more about the wonderful world of the shadowhunters!

Ashley No, I felt it wasnt finished after the third book. It's much better now!!

I'm with you like we need know how clary grows up like shadowhunter and the problems of immortality between Malec in the personal the books of cassie help me with my own problems(inner) and she I think wants that understan that thinks not always be for art of magic and maybe the things gets worst but we have to fight and move on. It's just my opinion.

Belén Robles My favourite one is also City of Glass but i don't think that it would be a good idea to close the story there because of some details that would have been "in the air" if she had finished the book there.

I stopped at book three because I heard the others where crap and I didn't really want to waste... What $60 bux on crappie books!

Ashley Book three and book five are my favorites so far. I cried like a baby on both of them. They both had such beautiful parts to them.

Sarah If it stopped at City of Glass, I would have been perfectly fine. I didn't think City of Fallen Angels was good. City of Lost Souls was just kinda messed up. Clary and her bro....that shocked me. Seriously didn't need to know what was running through her bro's head. Hopefully, City of Heavenly Fire will end this once and for all. I mean I love TMI, but the plot is getting less interesting and eventually something good always ends up being killed if the writer can't mix it up a little. Regardless, CC's books weren't too bad.

Ashley Well, I think we call all agree... Sebastian is just plain evil!

Sarah Ashley wrote: "Well, I think we call all agree... Sebastian is just plain evil!"

Amen. Well that and anyone would agree he had some mental instability.

Kirstyn It was a good place to end but I like where the series is now going.Dark Artifices might be a bit of a stretch too far though.

Terryann Yeah I agree the 3rd book should have been the end. It's really perfect. I'm on book 4 now and i'm not liking the seperation of Clary and Jace but on I'll plough till the end.

Pranshu I agree. I loved how it ended. But then she had to go and drag it out. And then write a prequel series. It seems like too much to me.

hahaha my exact thoughts!!! I was so shocked and a tad disgusted. God Cassandra CLare has a strange mind but then a gain that maybe the reason why she is best selling author. But ya the whole thing with sebastian was extremely distrubing in my opinion

Sara I thought I was the only one who thought this. The series has always felt dragged out to me City of Glass would be the perfect ending.
