Who believes Cassandra Clare should have just ended the series on this book. I love her books; however, in my opinion she tends to drag a lot during the series. I thought it would have been a perfect ending at city of glass there was no reason to continue. I have read all the books in the series and my favorite was the city of glass and I wished she ended the series there because it would have been a great ending to an trilogy. So anyways what are your thoughts?

Probably I can't resist the temtation once it comes out but I'm just scared that the storyline becomes too long and I start disliking it...
(I think i made some spellingmistakes here xd)

I get that Cassie has a good thing going, and she likes the world and the demand is high enough, but why over do something, when less is more? I won't be reading City of Heavenly Fire, and honestly, I will NOT be reading the Dark Artifices either. Enough is enough already.

I have read the city of lost souls; however, I still loved city of glass the most!

I completely understand I also am a bit tired of the way she seems to be dragging the whole series.

If you want a happy ending just stop at city of glass thats what I should have done. I just don't like the rest and its dragging and getting extremely boring in my perspective now. But I know your probably curious to see what happens to everyone so I guess read the rest if you want. I just don't like the rest of the books

wait what would I be surprised about? wait are you talking about Sebastian aka Clary's bro

I think City of Glass is by far the best of 5 TMI books. Still... as much as I loved the ending, some things were left unanswered, like what the Seelie Queen was referring to with her offer to Clary, and I wonder if Jace's resurrection is that simple. No one could mess up with some celestial 'game' and live without any consequences.
I read City of Fallen Angels, for I love Jace. I feel it is the worst book of TMI. It is more a Simon's book than the continuity of City of Glass, with some tortures befallen Jace.
CC also admitted that she did mean to write a novella about Simon, and didn't have any thought of writing the next TMI trilogy, then she changed her mind.
Many fans loved this, including myself. As devastating as I feel while reading this book, I was expecting its released date excitedly.
I think City of Lost Souls is way better than City of Fallen Angels. I really enjoyed reading it and it has exceeded my expectation. Why? For I read City of Lost Souls only because I wanted to know what CC is going to do with Jace. I am glad I continued reading the series.
I am looking forward reading City of Heavenly Fire.
If you think you can not go on with the throwing, cursing and killing someone moments while reading City of Fallen Angels, then I suggest you just stop at City of Glass.

that and what each character is prepared to do for those he/she loves the most and how they all seem to change as things get more difficult and of course we learn more about the wonderful world of the shadowhunters!

I'm with you like we need know how clary grows up like shadowhunter and the problems of immortality between Malec in the personal the books of cassie help me with my own problems(inner) and she I think wants that understan that thinks not always be for art of magic and maybe the things gets worst but we have to fight and move on. It's just my opinion.

I stopped at book three because I heard the others where crap and I didn't really want to waste... What $60 bux on crappie books!

Amen. Well that and anyone would agree he had some mental instability.

hahaha my exact thoughts!!! I was so shocked and a tad disgusted. God Cassandra CLare has a strange mind but then a gain that maybe the reason why she is best selling author. But ya the whole thing with sebastian was extremely distrubing in my opinion
