Wizard of the Pigeons isn't in the Chicago Public Library's collection. Does anyone have a copy I can borrow before March?
I've got a copy! I also have to read it, but I think we've got plenty of time to both read it. Would you like it first? Or should I let you know when I'm done (I'm fine, either way).
Yay! The imposition to you should be minor--it's only ~200 pages, so I should be able to read in a day. I think it would be better to try to get it from you after you're done, so it's fresher in my mind when we discuss it.
Here are the selections from /Three Messages and a Warning:/"Murillo Park"
"Photophobia"
"The Drop"
They are all quite short, so if we want one more let's add:
"Pink Lemonade"
Dear friends,Have I ever mentioned that Spring/Summer gets crazy for me? Yeah - well. I got my copy of Brain Plague from the library just a few days back (after getting home from a trip) and as of now am not even 10% in. D'oh!
Long story short, I highly doubt that I'll be at book group tomorrow :( However, I still plan to read it and will be happy to discuss it with any of you at Wiscon!!!

Feb - Unwind, by Neal Shusterman
Mar - Wizard of the Pigeons, by Megan Lindholm
Apr - Three Messages and a Warning, ed. Eduardo Jiménez Mayo and Chris N. Brown
May - Brain Plague, by Joan Slonczewski
Jun - Cloud and Ashes, by Greer Gilman
Definitely some interesting titles, hope folks can make it.
