Actually, it's easier to understand if you haven't read Beastly. The only character in both books is Kendra, and while she makes allusions to the curse she put on Kyle and how well it worked out, they leave the reader with questions. For example, she pulls out a magic mirror and says she recently got it back from a friend in New York, meaning Kyle, but Kyle broke the mirror Kendra gave him.

Yannie No. They're not connected in a way that there's a specific continuation from one story to another. They use the same characters but can stand alone as separate novels.

Victoria Vivian Victorino No, you'll be fine :) though it's better if you read Beastly~ so you'll be familiarized with the names. But nothing else to worry about aside from names, few mentions about Beastly. I know you'll understand Bewitching pretty well :) g'luck :)

arabella No, I read it and it was fine without Beastly.

♪♫Gloria♫♪ No. Not. At. All.

Dana No - just read it - it is fantastic! Then you will probably love it so much you will want to read everything else Alex Flinn has written. :)
