My guess is that the cover will be revealed a few months before the book's release. But he hasn't said anything about a cover yet.

I hope it gets released sometime soon but highly doubt it will. Hopefully he puts it out by August though.

Hey I'm Asmaa, and I absolutely love the PJO and HoO series! Read every book too many times to count. My favorite I think would be The Lost Hero, and my favorite character is LEO VALDEZ!!! I mean, people don't give him much attention when they talk about the main protagonists, but come on, he's awesome! But course, Percy would be an extremely close second. Jason does not (sorry Steph) make my list of favorites. And it's a long list.

Yeah, I always love seeing the new covers. But the character reveals aren't that great, in my opinion. I sort of like creating my own mental image for each character, and if I've already seen the drawing by John Rocco, it interferes with my mental image.

I don't usually picture what characters look like when I'm reading, not that much at least, so I kind of enjoy them sometimes.

John Rocco's an amazing artist, really, I love the cover arts he does for RR's books, but I feel that when it comes to drawing people, he doesn't really do it well. Like, the picture of Percy was really, you know, un-Percyish. Same with Annabeth's. if that makes any sense.

I wasn't impressed with Octavian or Luke's pictures. There's was disappointing. That's when I discard the drawing and really imagine what they looked like.

True, they were twelve...but, like he kinda gets the faces wrong. Like on the cover of TMoA, you can immediately recognize Percy and Jason. But when you zoom in, their faces don't look like how you'd imagine Percy and Jason to look.

I agree. I didn't like Percy or Annabeth. The only one I thought was okay was Frank.

Yeah, when it came to the actual details of the faces, I agree. But I don't think those details were to meant to be exactly what they look like. If that makes sense.

Yes. I feel like they've gotten a lot better. The old characters were kind of strange (Percy? Grover? Chiron?), but they've done a really good job with Thalia and a bunch of other new ones.

But on the cover of TLH, I feel like he got it pretty right. Especially Leo.

Same here. Percy looks awesome on that one, the whole thing's really cool, the ice and all. You can see how much Percy's grown and hanged, just compare to him on TLT.
