I agree! This is a great book, it has nothing to do with your "cheap handbagd!" Some how we need to report you to Goodreads as a scam!!!
Joclyn, you can click on flag on the right hand side at the bottom of the comment. I reported him/her already, hopefully if goodreads get multiple complaints they will remove them faster :)

Andrea, I also reported them, some how who ever these people are made this posting look like an Anita Shreve book. As a true Shreve fan, I take offense to this kind of cheap advertising.
I reported her too.. but since we're here, what were your thoughts on the book? (: I found it very interesting and the plot was definitely enjoyable, and even though her characters were still complex, I somehow found this to be a bit different from her other books. I wouldn't know to precisely say it, perhaps because it dealt with characters a bit younger than usual, but I found them to have different connections and different ways of interacting. But I really liked it!
I only rated it 2 stars. I just didn't really get it, but I think that's mainly a cultural thing. I'm a kiwi, if anything happened like that here, it really wouldn't be that big a deal, at least in terms of damaging your future. It just seemed like some kids who did some dumb things, but teenagers do that and it doesn't mean they don't grow up & contribute well to the world as decent citizens. Live & let live.
I really loved "the last time they met", my favourite Anita Shreve book.
