I'm starting The Picture of Dorian Gray

I've had this book for quite a bit now. In fact, I was at a book exhibition and I saw a beautiful copy of it, and even though I already owned a copy, I ended up buying it. Today I was playing Pictionary with a friend and her family, and the words: Dorian Gray came up. Since, I've just finished Lady Chatterley's Lover, it seems the universe has given me a sign for which book to pick up next.
Would anybody like to join me?

I read this book a couple years ago, and I LOVED it! There's one chapter that is super boring (just talking about Dorian's various favorite rugs, paitings, furniture pieces, food, etc...) but the rest of it is magnificent! I hope you like it, both of you! (:

Well, I finished the book about a week ago, and I absolutely loved it! I have a habit of highlighting parts which really stick to me, and...a lot of my book is covered in highlighter ink

I'm a bit more than mid-way through the book, and love Widle's eloquence. The slow revelation of his character as it is impacted by others and events. The fear built upon the realisation that others might see a flaw, is I believe, a story that many can relate to.
