* Publisher: C.W. Ingraham (October 10, 2010)

* Description:

"New York City Judge, Julia Husson, narrates a mysterious and tragic tale about two young women: A princess and a shoemaker.

When scientific evidence disputes her dying father's paternity, the princess is cast into the cold. Betrayed by a stepsibling, she then finds herself locked in an asylum. But ultimately, it is the princess' blood that infects her, as though a curse has been set upon her father's house. Eventually, she escapes the imprisonment, but not the madness. Where is she now? Only Julia knows.

All the while, Julia's niece, the shoemaker, spends her days and nights toiling for a famous, and manipulative, shoe designer whose identity is hidden behind the guise of an outlandish chenille dot birdcage veil. Although the obedient shoemaker is religiously devoted to the quest for the perfect shoe, she finds herself torn between two charming suitors: the first, a Method actor; the other, a gentleman of mystery. But when her pursuit of the elusive happily-ever-after reveals a cruel proposition, the outcome is deadly."

* Link to cover: Requested from Author, will add as soon as link is provided.

If there is anything else that I can do to help, please let me know.

Thank you,

Stacy | 9 comments Is this something that as a Goodreads Librarian I can do? I looked in the Librarian Manual, and it didn't specifically say that we can add... only edit or change book covers/information. If I am mistaken, I'm happy to help in any way needed. Thanks

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments Yup, it's one of the 'things what we do', but anyone who is registered can add a book as far as I know. :)

Stacy | 9 comments Thanks Emy :-)

Is there a link or area on GR that I need to go to in order to add the book? (and combine editions of other books as well) I have been looking around on the site and must be missing it...LOL
