Are you an author of Dangerous Hero Fiction? Tell us about yourself here!

I'm Ashley Bucci (still working on getting the Goodreads author page up and going, author of Blood of the Fallen. It is the first in a ten book series featuring the heroine Lyla Haile. I was unsure if my hero vampire detective Micah truly qualified as a dangerous hero, especially in the first book, but I was adamantly assured he was so I decided to go ahead and post here. Looking forward to getting to know you guys.
P.S. Thanks for starting this thread Lady Danielle, great idea!
~Ashley

My new release,

Thanks for listening to me blather. I look forward to meeting you all!

I'm Sarah Castille. I write erotic romance and I have a dangerous hero for you! My September release, Against the Ropes (Sourcebooks Casablanca) features a gritty, underground mixed martial arts fight club owner, Torment:
"All sleek muscle and restrained power, the man they call Torment plays to win at any cost. Whether it’s in the ring or in the bedroom, he knows exactly when to use a soft touch and when to launch a full-on assault. He always knows just how far he can push. And he’s about to tempt Makayla in ways she never imagined…"
You can check out my dangerous man candy cover at www.sarahcastille.com or on my Goodreads author page! I also have an erotic legal thriller coming out in April (Legal Heat) with a bad, but not as dangerous, law-type hero. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

I'm Cynthia Luhrs and write paranormal romance. I've just released my first book about a cursed sexy Scottish ghost. It's the first in a series and each hero is dangerous and damaged in some way.
It's called Lost in Shadow

You can find me at http://cluhrs.com (we're currently redesigning so excuse the mess!) I'm also on facebook and twitter.
Looking forward to hearing what you all think of ghosts!

I self-published my first novel just recently, a work of fiction I had finished over a year ago. My main character is a Sin Eater who is tasked with removing the evil committed by man from their souls so that it is left to linger on earth where it can continue to grow. A friend told me she knew she shouldn't like the main character, but she did anyway, so perhaps my dear Voro qualifies for this thread ...

Erotic retelling of Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights. One of the greatest love stories ever told, with Heathcliff as the ultimate, dangerous lover/dominator/seducer.

Check out the very probing interview I did today for writer Cecilia Tan. She asks some very hot questions and the story behind the story is revealed. A sizzling bdsm excerpt is included as well: http://blog.ceciliatan.com/?p=1217#mo...

Hi, IJ. Welcome to the group. Keep in mind that your introductory post is supposed to represent your whole body of work. If you are promoting new events, you should use the promotions section. Thanks!

I just published my first book on Amazon a little less than a week ago. Just now got my Goodreads author profile set up!! I would love some feedback!
Boomtown

I'm pretty new to Goodreads and new to this group, although when I saw the name of the group, I was glad to find it :) I've always been a sucker for the dangerous hero, both in the books I read and the books I write.
After taking a long break from publishing to do some other stuff in my life, I'm back, and loving the freedom of indie publishing. Most of my old backlist books have heroes who are at least a bit dangerous, and the new books I've been working on continue that trend. Fires of Destiny, my historical romance and the "book of my heart" is once again available as an ebook. Fires of Destiny . My heroine suspects, with good reason each time, that the hero might be about to 1. kill her and 2. force her. Of course he does neither...But I seem to love plots where he's edgy and dark enough for such things to seem *possible*...
Anyway, best wishes to all and glad to be here.
Welcome, Linda! Feel free to create a thread to promote Fires of Destiny in the promotions folder.

I have recently published my first book called The Jaxon Effect. As many new authors who do not have the patience to wait for an agent or a publishing company to call I went Indie. So far the experience has been great but now comes the hard part. Selling my book to readers. There is a kindle version and an in print version on Amazon. Please take a moment if you would to take a look inside the kindle version to read a little bit of my book.
My Hero is named Jaxon Remington, a strip club owner from Manhattan who is tall, dark, sexy and oh so dangerous. During a visit to the ER he meets Dr. Kate Sims. The Chemistry between them burns up the pages. The story is edgy, sexy and fast paced. BY the end of the book you will be gagging for more. Good news... This book is a triology!

You can edit your post and add anything you want to it. That's the way this thread works anyway.

Hugh Fraser, the heroine's husband, who seemed sexy and charming, but completely reliable and respectable when they married, but turns out to have a secret past that he failed to mention.
Xavier Bishop, an old acquaintance of Hugh's who gives the heroine, Georgia Daniels, goosebumps every time they bump into each other.
Butterfly Part 1 is available on Amazon - Part 2 is due out at the end of September 2013. I'd love you to check it out and let me know what you think in a review.

Hello, I'm AC Kavich. I write in a few genres, but my most recent novel is a paranormal romance.
I think the hero of my novel qualifies as "dangerous" both for the forbidden nature of a romantic entanglement with a non-human, and due to the physical prowess inherent in his species - he can rough folks up if he needs to :)
I love this thread, btw. Thanks mods!

Hi Everyone!
I'm Sydney Somers and new to the group, but not new to dangerous heroes :) I'm pretty addicted to them and kickass heroines and most of the books I read and write reflect that, especially the paranormal romance ones.
My shape-shifter series features some sexy gargoyles with a fresh spin on Arthurian Legend:
Primal Hunger
Primal Attraction
Primal Pleasure
I also have a demon slayer series on the go which is pretty fast paced:
Unbreakable
Stripped Away
Storm Warning
Dark Obsession
And I have a series with witches who run a PI firm (My Spellbound series)and some other standalone books that definitely feature dangerous heroes.
Looking forward to talking about the books I'm reading with the rest of the group and getting to know everyone better :)

My romantic suspense series went live this week. Five titles:

My heroes are sexy, super alpha, and push the limits. My leading ladies are pretty strong, sassy, and fun too.
