Kara Smith | 4 comments Well Hershel said something about it on the walking dead.
"I can't profess to understand God's plan, Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind."

Angela Meadon (angelameadon) | 6 comments It's a very interesting question.
In my zombie novel I use the supernatural explanation for the rising of the dead. Basically, God allowed the dead to rise. It was a difficult decision to make, given the popular contagion explanation, but it fit my story.

Christine Verstraete (christine_verstraete) | 40 comments I took the route that the aunt, who doesn't understand what's happening says, "God didn't do this; people did."

Jacob Mandel | 27 comments I have a unique take on religion in my novel Red Century, in fact it's not a typical zombie novel all together. There is a young couple which are part of a group of friends making a horror movie in the woods of Century Florida and the couple see religion very differently it keeps emotions stirred throughout the story.

Daniel Williams (Daniel_Williams) | 27 comments I love this question and incorporated it into my series, Mace of the Apocalypse. There is a priest in the story who never questions God's love or existence despite the circumstances. It is his strength that helps many in the book carry on.
