My goal is to read 200 books and so far I've knocked out 21!!!

I have a lot going on this year (possiby changing jobs & moving to another state), so I shortened by goal from 105 in 2012 to 75 in 2013. So far, I'm 15/75.
My goal is 50 (I only read 23 books last year so I'm challenging myself without going overboard). I've read 8 books so far which is 3 books ahead of schedule.

Indus a challenge (not on goodreads) a few years back to read 100, and I only got to about 65, so I didn't want to go overboard and I am shooting for 80. I've read 8 so far so I am on track!

I hit my 100 goal last year so i am going for 150 this year. Fingers crossed

I read 40 books last year (I work full time, have a 5 year old and love to make cards) so my goal is 50 for this year and so far I've read 12 :)
My goal is to read a hundred books and I'm already at 32 books!! :) This is the first time I am trying a reading challenge.

Wow you guys are serious readers. I set my goal last year to 80 and made it. I'm only aiming for 50 this year. I'm working on my third novel so it's hard to read and write.So far I'm at 14/50
Going for 25 books this year! Aleady have 2 books.

My goal is 210 books. Since this is my first year doing the challenge I've aimed a little lower than my usual pace. Plus workload in school is increasing too. My real goal is at least 250 if not 300. I've read 41 books so far.
At the moment mine is 50, and I'm already behind D: I think my 16 year old self would be so disappointed, but I've had to put reading on a backbench for the past couple of years, and want to aim low for now.
I've only challenged myself to read 75, last year it was 100 but I just barely made that goal, so I've decided to narrow it down this year. So far I've only read 24 books, but it says, "Great work, you're 8 books (9%) ahead of schedule!"
I think I might need to make the goal 85 or 90 books so that it will be more of a challenge since I might easily read 75 way before the year ends ;)

I calculated how many books I read in a school year it comes to about 25. But that doesn't count the summer so I read about 35 a year. Not bad considering I'm 12! I am serious I really am 12.

Ambitious folks you all are. I'm setting a low goal of 20. And those are only my books, not the stuff I read to or preview for my girls…although my 7 year old will probably be reading this stuff next year. Sigh. My 10 year old son reads mostly the same things (but more) as I do. Sigh. I'm at 8 so far but I have 2 major soccer seasons in there when my reading pretty much ceases :(

I don't want to feel like I have to read a really large number if books because i feel like the pressure of a reading challeng might take some of the pleasure of reading away so this year my only goal is to enjoy what I read anther it takes reading it really slow or really quick.

At first it was at 20. Then I change it to 25 unless I change it again. Right now I'm at 15 and still going strong!

My original goal was 113, but I was feeling pressured because I was getting behind, and I want to actually enjoy reading, so I lowered the number to 50 and now I'm on track. So far I've read 17 of the 50, but I'm hoping I can still make my original number now that the pressure is off.

my goal is 100 and I'm now 66 so I may still have to increase it :)
I don't fully enjoy the book if I feel pressured to read a lot of books, if you know what I mean. I'm shooting for 50, but I'm about half way there so I'm probably going to raise that.
Those of you with a goal of 200 books are impressive! My current goal is 110 books. So far, I've read 101. So, I'll definitely have to up the ante.
