Also, Marsha, another good place to try is booklending.com. You can loan and borrow books from there, and it's free. You should check it out.

I use lendle.me and ebookfling.com, but I get frustrated with the wait time. How long does it usually take you to get a book you're interested in?
I tried Lendle but didn't love it. The wait times are pretty long, and I don't know if it's a goodreads friend of booklending person loaning me the book, which is kind of frustrating. I have so many books on my kindle to read, and the books I request are not generally something I'm dying to read, so it's ok. I'm going to check out ebookfling. It is just frustrating that once you loan a book, it's not lendable anymore:(

I try to only request books that I'm not dying to read, but I guess I'm impatient with those too! ebookfling is different in that you aren't in queue for a book...it is the person with the fastest response. When something you want becomes available, they send a mass email to everyone who wants it and the first person to respond gets it. I'm not online all the time, so I don't get very many. Hopefully you'll do better. Good luck!
