I've recently added a book blog to my website. trying a completely new (for me) genre seems like a fun idea, so I'm looking for one or two romances to review and a few authors to interview. FYI - Sorry, but e-readers give me eyestrain headaches so I must restrict myself to paperbacks. If anyone is interested please send me a message!

I can do an interview but my book is only on ereader (though there is a paperback due sometime this year...)
Thanks for your interest, everyone!@Whitney - I really SHOULD have added a link. Here's one to my latest post: an interview with author Sarah-jane LeHoux http://www.lunarisen.com/alltheotherb...
@D.A. - when the paperback is available, maybe you could email the first 10 (or so) pages so I can take a quick look before you go to the expense of shipping? mlweaver@luarisen.com
@Alexandra - Would you mind emailing about ten pages to me? mlweaver@luarisen.com
@ Abigail - actually, no! My post was met with silence by the romance writers here! I did get a few fantasy-type books; unfortunately only one of them was reviewable (I refuse to post negative reviews).
I am still looking for some romances for a change of pace, and if any of you would like to participate in a reader interview as well, just email me! Here's an example from my blog: http://www.lunarisen.com/alltheotherb...
M.L., I have a book of romantic short stories that may appeal to someone who likes Tolkein (I first typed "Tolstein", which could be a merger of Tolkein and Tolstoy...hmm..."Each unhappy hobbit is unhappy in its own way") and Jane Austen. May I e-mail the first ten pages to you?
Sorry- click send too soon.Have you tried any current or classic romances? Pride and Prejudice is high on my list (and out of copyright) and Jill Shalvis writes funny contemporary.
ML, I am curious about how you like what you've read so far. I know a lot of folks turn their noses up at romance. What do you think about them? Think you'll keep reading?
Abigail - I haven't reviewed any yet. I received ten pages from another author two days ago and am reading through it. I'm curious, though. My wife reads quite a few and I've peaked through them...but I want to read some indies as part of my effort to help other indie authors get some exposure.
Nice of you. I'm traditional, so that leaves me out. :)Let me know after you read some. I really want to know your thoughts. Especially since you're coming at it from a non-romance side.
