I'm posting from a dark and scary forest. It took me a long time to convince AOL to set up a network out here, but I think it was worth it. Oh look, an owl.

Ah, and now I'm posting from home. The temperamental laptop on a slightly rickety kitchen table. Large beer by my side, vague commitment to write at least one non-fiction article. Beer is winning.

Back in 'office' at the desk top. Busy evening. My lady wife is doing the accounts so I've printed of a heap of invoices for her to have to hand as she does the books. (I'm not to be trusted with numbers, I can be truly inspirational when dealing with them but tend to be sloppy with decimal points. Those who know my approach to punctuation will not be surprised)1100 words done this evening for a talk on Sunday, and I'm also trying to get a plot sorted out for a 'prequel' I'm planning. Not quite 'Benor, the early years', more a short story I can put out 'cheap as chips' as a sort of thank you for those who've bought the others.
I'm posting from my bed on my kindle fire. I have an lamp with an orange bulb in it that it supposed to help me sleep, so the room is going orange. Usually I post from my laptop, sitting on my bed. The walls are light grey, I have a black black out blind, red curtains and a red door. My duvet cover is also red.
Curled up in the corner of a comfy dark blue love seat with my iPad on my lap. Dave is on the couch to my right, poking away at his laptop. I expect he's playing with iTunes as usual. On the coffee table before me rests my laptop, a half full glass of water, a zillion remote controls, my fags and ashtray and a pile of recovery disks that I really must put away.
To my left is the powder room which contains the washing machine which I can hear chunnering away.
Around the corner, out of my line of sight, is the kitchen. We won't mention the mess in there.
The room is filled with the noise that Dave calls 'music'.
I'm in my office with the air-con and fan on and counting down the days until Autumn!! Out my window there is a thirsty lawn and children in the swimming pool.
On the couch with my laptop at the moment. Eating my porridge and typing one handed
I'm writing at my desk, with a bowl of porridge on one side and a pot of tea on the other.

I sit on my bed, cross-legged to keep my feet warm. My duvet cover is teenage-black, my room is small. I post from my laptop.

TBH I seem to be the doggies' minion here at the mo. Only seven more days till daughter returns to claim them. Missing them already.
There is a long waiting list im afraiid...
I love how the posts go off subject. Right now my minion is writing for me so not responsible for what it says and no idea where it's posting from.
