Ashley-Anne do you need to read this book to understand the first one, Darker Still? or does Darker Still pretty much stand on its own? because Darker Still looks interesting but I don't want to start a new series

Chelsie Darker still can be read on it's own, and it will still make sense. As a single novel, it leaves you satisfied as a reader. Also, it kinda leads you to believe it was a singular book, because in the tittle it even says "novel most foul" or something along those lines. Also, with the way it ends, it doesn't make you desperately want the second one, and you can always get The Twisted Tragedy later.

Maddie Tiare I only read Darker Still, and I don't plan on reading this one. I think the ending of Darker Still could work as an ending if you want to read it as a stand alone. Part of the thing that drew me to Darker Still was that I thought it was a stand-alone.
