Hey Toni,It was really cool hearing from you, I had never expected it. I have to ask, where did the inspiration for the book come from? I myself like to write so hearing from a published author made my day. I'm glad my comment made you smile!

Hi Jamie,This book started with the character of Irena and all of her family troubles. While I'v never lived in Florida, I was fascinated with the Everglades and always wondered who would live in such a place. It just snowballed from there. Have fun with your own writing!
