Dr. Connor put the end of the machine on her stomach and moved it around, he didn't see anything. "Well I don't see any baby. You two are free and clear so far. You can get on birth control and I can load you both up with condoms as well."

Death sighed with relief, it was visible as his shoulders sagged some.

Death held her hand as Dr. Connor pulled her shirt back down. "Alright so do you want to get on birth control?" He saw Death nodding adamantly.

Dr. Connor walked out of the patients room and went to write a script for Danny to get birth control.

Ryan sped down the highway, the scenery a blur, his only focus was to get her to the doctor right away. Once he was closer to the office, he slowed down dramatically, finally he pulled into the parking lot.

Irina leant back in her seat and made a few more notes as they waited for the next patient.

Hazel opened the door and stepped out onto the tarmac, still holding the towel around her hand as they made their way into the practice.

Ryan led her into the house/building. He looked around the front area that looked empty, he hoped that there were people there, then Dr. Connor walked out of a side room. "Dr. Connor, thank God. My fiancee has cut her hand pretty badly."

Dr. Connor looked up from the clipboard he was scribbling on, "Oh my." Was all he said before he put the clipboard down and walked over to the couple, he took the towel away and examined the wound with his eyes quickly. "Come," He said and led the way to the now empty room where Irene was. "Irene I need you to get me the suture kit, I need to sew this young woman's hand up," He announced when he was back in the examining room, he went to the sink and started scrubbing his hands. Ryan's eyes widened when he saw his fling, he cleared his throat and helped Hazel on the bed, ignoring Irene altogether.

Hazel rolled her eyes, "It's really not that-" She was about to say bad but at that point Dr Connor bustled her into a room with a pretty looking student nurse. Hazel smiled weakly and sat on the medical couch, looking at her hand.

Irina glanced up and she struggled to maintain her composure as Ryan walked into the room. She swallowed and gave him a nervous look before nodding as Dr Connor asked for a suture kit. She silently left the room to collect one, trying to keep her face calm as she went to one of the cupboards in the storage room.

Dr. Connor ignored Ryan who seemed to be looking a bit wary and lost, he just shoved him into a chair and muttered something about men taking their girls getting hurt worse than the girls did, he moved back over to Hazel and gave her a friendly grin. "Would you like to tell me how this happened?" he asked her as he sat on his rolling chair, he started to clean out her cut, gently.

"Cutting lemons." Hazel muttered, staring at her hand. "I got distracted." She continued, staring at her hand as Dr Connor began to clean it out. Irina returned and placed the suturing kit on the desk next to Dr Connor, she gave Ryan a wary look as she sat down in her chair once again.

Ryan met Irina's eyes, he shook his head barely, letting her know not to let on that they knew each other. That would be a disaster, he'd just proposed to Hazel and if she found out about that who knew if they would survive.

"I see, and what caused this distraction may I ask?" He asked, wanting to keep her talking, he threaded up a needle the old fashioned way, he believed in a lot of the basic methods. He started to sew up the gash in her hand as he waited for her to talk to distract her from what he was doing.

Irina raised an eyebrow and a slight smirk touched her features as she watched Ryan shake his head. Her eyes drifted over to Hazel and she was evidently curious as she looked at the other girl.

"Uh Ryan distracted me." She giggled softly before wincing as she felt the sting of the needle. Hazel dug her nails into the couch and tried to ignore it as she watched Dr Connor stitch her hand up.

"I see, what was he doing? Dancing like a chicken?" Dr. Connor replied, a grin tugging at his mouth, he knew that making her laugh and distracting her was the best he could do to keep her from crying. He continued with the thread, almost done.

Death hugged her back and took the pills a chick gave him. "Let's get outta here," he said.

Hazel rolled her eyes, "You'd be surprised." She muttered, throwing a smirk in Ryan's direction, before gritting her teeth as the needle went in again.

Irina looked at her nails before her brown eyes skirted over Ryan once again, she absently tapped her fingers against her clipboard and looked down at the medical notes that detailed his girlfriends health plan. The girl he was with was cute enough, a little on the skinny side and with a kind of outdoorsy look to her, messy hair, bright eyes and short fingernails. Irina chewed her lip and doodled idly on the edge of her clipboard, trying to keep her hands busy so she didn't accidentally let on that she knew Ryan, hmm well maybe she should? That could be fun.

Death nodded and left the doctors office with their hands linked together.

Dr Connor finished his work and started wrapping a bandage around her hand to keep it clean. "When you take showers just unwrap this and rewrap it when you get out. If it starts looking really red call me and we'll set up an appointment. No more knives for a bit , ok?"

Ryan watched the dr stitch Hazel up, no smile on his face. He wanted to get everything done and get the hell out before the doctors assistant ruined his entire life.

Hazel nodded and looked at her fiancé, "Ryan will you please smile or something, you're looking like someone died." She told him, sliding from the medical couch and looking at her bandaged hand. "No knives, got it." She grinned, walking back to Ryan.

Irina watched her walk over to Ryan and chewed her lip, looking at the notes on her paper. She'd see how it played out, it could be interesting.

"I just want to go," Ryan said and stood up, he put his arms around hazel and glared at Irene over hazels shoulder. "Let's get going," he whispered in her ear.

Irina gave him a hard look, her eyes were steely but a slight smirk touched her features. "Good luck." She mouthed at Ryan as Hazel took his hand in her own and led him out of the room.

"So do you want to go back to the cabin right away or we could grab a bite to eat before we go back," Ryan spoke to Hazel while ignoring Irene completely.

"I feel like we should head home," She murmured, "Sure we had a good two day break, a weekend away but you've got a job to get back to and I've got meetings and things to plan. Oh! And a wedding." Hazel grinned.

"That's true, Daisuke probably didn't do any homework while we were away so I need to get him to do that. You need to think about bridesmaids, colors, all that stuff," he led her out to the truck.

Hazel grinned, and clambered into the car.
"Who should I have as bridesmaids? Oh geeze how am I going to pick a maid of honour? Who's your best man going to be?" Hazel listed off her questions as she looked out of the window. "Where should we have it? Ack I'll talk to Lottie and Bex, they're good at what they do!"

"Uh," Ryan thought about everything she was asking... he didn't really have many friends. He could ask Nick to be his best man, "Nick. You should definitely talk to Lottie and Bex, they'll love you forever I'm sure. What about Georgia and Aster? I'm sure they'd love to be bridesmaids.." He started driving towards home.

"Yeah but I can't pick Georgia over Aster or vice versa. I'd need someone else to be maid of honour. I could try Celeste or Bex? I mean Lottie will probably plan the thing." She murmured, leaning against the door as they pulled out of the hospital.

"Yeah you could try them, Bex would probably bake everything dessert wise, Celeste would be a good bridesmaid," Ryan had them almost home, he felt good about the weekend, he was looking forward to the engagement party. (hah)

Hazel nodded and frowned at her hands. As much as she wanted to do the whole squealing girl thing and clap her hands together it wasn't happening, not while it was busted anyway. They reached the long sloping driveway of their home and Hazel grinned at Ryan. "I could always ask my step-sister, I mean she's my Mom's kid, real sweet girl but she's never met you that's the thing. I'm sure she'd be okay with being a bridesmaid though right? That's on every teenage girls bucket list."

Ryan drove down their long driveway, "I'm sure she would love to. Sounds like you have a lot of phone calls to make. Hey it looks like the girls are here." He said when they could see the house, Georgia and Asters car was parked outside their house.

Amber giggled and got out if the car "I couldn't help it!" She squeaked, pressing her side against his and walking close to him

"Mhmm," Jaden got out of the car and locked it once Amber sidled up to him, he put his hand in hers and walked into the waiting room. It was a clean, but welcoming room, he gave the woman at the front desk their names and then led Amber over to a set of chairs to wait to be called. He picked up a parenting magazine and started flipping through it, he stopped here and there to point out cool baby toys to Amber.

Dr. Connor was in his office filling out some paperwork on one of his patients when his receptionist came in and informed him that his morning appt was there to see him. "I'll be right out," He informed her and went about finishing up the paperwork. Once done he filed it away and stood, he pulled on his white lab coat over his plaid button up shirt. He wore jeans, and loafers as well, very laid back.

Amber grinned at the magazine, and pointed to some colors she liked for the baby's nursery "maybe we should do a light teal color, kind of mint blue?" She asked, looking through the pages with her hubby

"I like the sound of that, we could ask James to paint something for the babies room maybe..." Jaden looked at a cool looking stroller, "Babe! Look at this," It looked like a harley sort of. Dr. Connor walked in at that time and peered over Jaden's shoulder without him knowing it. "I wouldn't get that one, that company has had many of their products recalled over the years," Dr. Connor winked at Amber, "Okay you two how about we have a look at that baby?" He led the way into an examining room.

Amber grinned up at him "oh of course, purely for safety" she said with a knowing look in her eyes. She followed him into the room and sat down on the table "you'll be able to tell if out baby is healthy, right doctor?" She asked. Amber was always worrying that her baby would be sick, or hurt in some wat

"Of course ! I don't think either of you have anything to worry about, you look healthy from the outside. That's usually a good sign," he setup the machinery and lifted ambers shirt. "This will be cold," he warned her and squished the gel on her swollen stomach. Dr. Connor moved a piece on top of her belly, a form appeared up on the screen. "Look at her, she's kicking all over the place," the Dr said happily.

Jaden watched with interest as the doctor set everything up and got the machinery going. When the baby came on the screen he felt his heart beat faster, he squeezed Ambers hand. Then he realized what the doctor said, "She?" He asked with a rueful grin.

Amber looked at the screen and squeezed jadens hand tightly, grinning brightly "it's a girl?" She asked excitedly

Dr Connor nodded. "Oh..." He moved around on her belly some. "Well I hope you wanted double. There's a boy behind her, twins! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Mang."

Jaden almost fell over. "What?!" He choked out and then looked into Ambers eyes. "Twins?" It was more of a squeak than a word when he talked.

Ambers eyes widened and she felt like she would cry "oh my... Really?!" She looked at the screen and felt herself become very emotional "that's absolutely amazing" she said softly, looking to jaden with wet eyes and a big smile

"I see it as double excitement, I would put that on your baby shower invitations. Double of everything. Boy and girl," He looked a bit concerned towards Jaden he seemed to be turning green.

Jaden held onto Ambers hand like it was a life saving device, he wasn't sure what to make of it all. He was a bit in shock, and a bit in awe. He finally looked down at his wife and gave her a weak smile.

Amber looked up at jaden with worry evident in her brown eyes. She had been excited, but seeing the positively green look on her husbands face made her feel cold. She decided that they could talk in the car though, and looked back up at the doctor "same here, doctor." She said with a small smile. She could feel herself paling though.

"Okay well," He pulled Ambers shirt down after wiping the goo off of her stomach. Dr. Connor handed Jaden a small glass of water. "Its a lot to take in, finding out there will be two. Also you should know you're wife is in no danger right now, she's healthy."

Jaden swallowed the water in one gulp and stared at the doctor. "You read my mind.. I'm excited about the children, I'm just worried about my wife doctor. I don't want anything to happen to her.. she's my-"Jaden choked some. "She's my life." He looked tenderly down at Amber.

Amber smiled softly up at jaden "babe you don't need to worry about me, I'll be okay. I've just got to make sure they're alright" she said the lasts part softer, running a hand down her stomach as she stood up
