The Movie, Yes or Not?

the book in itself was very descriptive and mesmerizing to read. but there were a few instances where, unless you the analogy of a boat,lifeboat, its difficult to comprehend the description. thus, this way, the movie was better. i can now understand those parts of the book which i couldn't before.

the movie too was beautifully shot, meeting all my expectations and just as breathtaking as the novel.

but all said and done, a movie can never beat a book!

The movie was a visual delight. My jaw dropped the minute the movie started and i could only blink after it was over !!

the film is disappointing. The book is much better. I must admit that animation and special effects are really good, but except these, the production isn't a blockbuster for me. It was even boring sometimes. I don't recommend it.

I was so captivated with this movie!! It was heart breaking to watch Richard Parker waste away, and heart breaking agin when he went into the jungle without acknowldeging Pi. The images from this movie where magical and wonderful. I believe the story with the animals!
