Mockingjay
question
What do you think about this book "Mockingjay" by Suzzane Collins?

Please let's discuss and share with me your opinion about this novel :) Is it worth reading?
It's worth reading but I personally think it's not the best book of the series
For me, it's not a good book, but i think it's worth reading, to get the ending of the trilogy...
I personally feel this is the best book of the series. Layered, complex and sublimely nihilistic, it stays with you for a long time after you have read the epilogue.
Your feelings on it will depend on why you're reading the series. If your interest is the Games themselves, you won't like it at all. My main interest was the world and Katniss as a character. For me, it was the best book of the three (I found the second one a bit redundant). It's one of the few books tackling a subject like this that pulls no punches and not a bit of it rang false. The ending is just about perfect.
It is pathetic.
Sorry if that sounded harsh. Collins got sidetracked with characters and took on too much. It seems to me she tried to refresh the series, but left out too much and came up with a horrible mess.
I know many people who feel the same.
So, if you enjoyed the first two books as I did, you will be greatly disappointed.

I loved the trilogy as a whole, but out of the three-Mockingjay is my least favorite. The first two books in the Trilology are much better. Still, if you've read the first two, then you might as well finish the series.
My 13 year old niece and I were just talking about this. We're huge fans and were slightly disappointed about the outcome...as though the third book were written in a rush:(
One of the best books ever written reread it and you wil looove it. Primm Finnick noo
