Aaron Hill | 8 comments This is an old and out of print book but heavily referenced when exploring the origins of Creativity.

Aaron Hill | 8 comments Title: The Art of Thought
Author: Graham Wallas
ISBN (or ASIN): B0007JCBOM
Publisher: Watts & Co.
Publication date: 1949
Format: Hardcover
Description: The Art of Thought, originally published in 1926, was the first work to give a clear, inspiring, and authoritative exposition of the process of reasoning, in language adapted to the general reader as well as the student of psychology. It established itself as a standard guide to the mechanism of thought, and its message remains of essential value to a world confronted with problems of increasing complexity.

Sandra | 31577 comments Aaron, how many pages does it have? And do you have a cover for the 1949 edition rather than the 1926 edition?

We only use ASINs for Kindle editions, as any other ASIN could only have been taken from Amazon.

There are 162 pages in the 1949 edition. I could not find a link to the cover as it is rare and long out of print. I could take a picture of the book cover (non-descript red) or the dustjacket (lots of wear).

I think this book came out before ISBNs and hasn't been republished since. The ASIN is the only number I could find on any website that was associated with this book.

Yes, 1949 is definitely pre-ISBN. Books can be added without an ISBN if they do not have one, as in this case. We CANNOT take book information from Amazon or other booksellers.

I've scanned the dustjacket. Can I email that in or do I need to find a website to host the image then provide you the url?
