Does King even write his own books anymore or does he just plug some notes in to a computer that regurgitates this schlock?

I first read The Stand when book makers were unable to print a novel of this immensity. It was thus heavily abridged. This was probably a good thing as the first half of the novel is very enjoyable while the second half a little tedious. I would recommend anyone to read it as it shows King approaching the zenith of his skills.
