Barring some sort of huge, multi-author anthology, mine would likely be THE STORIES OF RAY BRADBURY, the collection published in the early 80s.
I agree, Holly. I might have to stow Brain Droppings by George Carlin away with me somehow, too.
I'm reading Duma Key at the moment, been a while since I read King. UNDER THE DOME was the last of his I read. Enjoying DUMA so far.
DUMA is my favorite of King's recent works. I really loved it. DOME was good, too. The latter is being made into a mini series at the present.
I don't know, an extended desert island stay might not be complete without my Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy collection. Can I do that?

Unless of course box sets can be counted as one book, then I would take Harry, Ron, and Hermione with me.

IT is definitely a solid choice!

I liked cell as well. The first time I read it I was a bit high (ok a lot high) :) on iv steroids and I couldn't read it as it really freaked me out. Lol. I've read it a few times since though.
So for my desert island book it would either be the set of Stephen king s as they have to count as one big book, or Brandon Sanderson s books cause they also count as one. It has to work that way or it just isn't fair :)
Cell was pretty good. It was a fun read, but one that gets panned quite a bit. I have a hhardcover edition that came with a pretty cool poster, much like the copy of From A Buick 8 I have.
