Here's another random Goodreads giveaway!

So for any of you who haven't read this one, or who want their own autographed copy of it, just comment below and answer this question:

What was one of your favorite reads from 2012 and why did you like it so much?

I'll pick a winner on Thursday, January 10th.

Sorry, but the giveaway for the print copy of this book is for US and Canada only. I just can't afford international postage. But if you live outside of the US and Canada and don't mind getting an ebook version and you use Kindle, Nook, or Kobo, let me know in your comment. If I pick your name, I'll send you an ebook copy of the book through Amazon, BN.com, or Kobobooks.com.

Rose (harnessrose) Oh my goodness, it is so hard to choose a favorite book, but if I have to I would say, "The Little Coffee Shop of Kabul" by Deborah Rodriguez. This book has just stuck with me. I'm not used to reading books about Afghanistan which is the setting. The book is rich with the Afghan culture, teaching me a lot of the culture and its people. And it's a book about women. It shows their strength and power amidst a culture that keeps women in the background.

Jasmine (jasminflower88) | 2 comments I haven't read any of your books yet but I am really looking forward to doing so. An autographed copy would be even better!

One of my favorites from 2012 was A Bride Sews With Love In Needles California by Erica Vetsch and another was Double Blind by Brandilyn Collins. I liked the first one because of all the Harvey Girls history, kinda reminded me of the Judy Garland movie. And the second one was a good suspense story that really made me think, it also helped taught me sympathy for those who suffer from severe depression.

Sarah (reader_mom) | 13 comments I fell in love with 'Angel Eyes' by Shannon Dittemore. I loved the different perspectives that she wrote from. I felt like I was seeing all the sides of the magnificent drama. I enjoyed the battle between the angels and demons throughout the book. It was a great read!

Rebekah Gyger (rebekahgyger) | 3 comments I loved The Shape of Mercy by Susan Meissner. The theme of prejudice was great.

Julie Graves (gravesok) | 109 comments My number 1 reads for 2012 were tied by the same author A Love Surrendered and A Light in the Window by Julie Lessman. Camy your book A Dangerous Stage also made my To 12 of 2012 list!

Dee I can't pick a favorite! Aaaugh!

Probably Cathy Marie Hake's Letter Perfect or Fancy Pants.

They got me into Christian fiction this past year and were wonderful reads!

Funny, romantic, thrilling...Oh I love them! :)

Aw thanks so much Julie!

message 9: by Abbi (new)

Abbi I read over 230 books so picking favorites has been extremely hard this year! The one that surprised me (in how much I loved it) the most was A Change of Fortune by Jen Turano! I honestly can't fully explain my love of this book-it was funny, romantic, slight intrigue and was just all around amazing!

Cathy Marie Hake is amazing! I've read all of her novels and my favorites are the two you mentioned and That Certain Spark!

Kai | 3 comments The Iron Fey series is my favorite for 2012. I love Meghan, Ash, and Puck. I love Meghan when she is trying to figure her place in the fey world and the human world.

Shatara (lovepinkish) | 17 comments I really enjoyed the Hunger games series last year!

message 13: by Kara (new) - rated it 2 stars

Kara | 2 comments My favorite read of 2012 was My Hands Came Away Red by Lisa McKay. It sucked me in and wouldn't let go until the end! Ms. McKay handles really well the conflict between Christians and Muslims and the group of teens caught inbetween these groups unexpectedly. Awesome, awesome story! :)

TheAtticGirl | 2 comments It's a toss up between two books for me. The Maid of Fairbourne Hall by Julie Klassen was def. a favorite because I love Austen-like books. The other was Full DIsclosure by Dee Henderson because I love her work and waited something like 5 years for another of her books to come out.

LAWonder10 | 10 comments Camy, your name isn't familiar to me. I read so many books last year and many were very good so it is very hard to state which I liked best.
Among my favorite was Jane Prowse series of Hattori Hachi. They are children's books but full of adventure, light romance and I learned a lot about ninjutsu which I had never heard of before...I thought I knew about most every martial art.
I enjoy reading cleanly written books I am not ashamed for my grandchildren to see.
