http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11... this is listed as cw anderson- illustrator, which is certainly reasonable- he did lots of horse illustrations- but in my research, the book was written by lippincott and illustrated by hunt and anderson didnt have anything to do with it.
I've added Lippincott as the primary author, but it seems to be likely that Anderson illustrated the 1958 edition (there was a 1951 edition illustrated by him); probably the 1934 edition is the one illustrated by Hunt. (If you can find out for sure, we can add the illustrator for that edition as well.)
