Why did Peeta propose to Katniss? I know it was part of a plot, but did I miss something??? Thoughts on it?

It was the only way to help Katniss survive longer and to keep her friends and family safer because Snow wasn't happier with her. She also agreed because Snow knew he would hurt Gale, his family, her family, or all of them if she didn't agree.

I know. Well, eventually they got MARRIED via free will, but their technical "engagement" was not because they wanted to.

Yeah...I just realized that they were engaged through the entire Peeta-Must-Kill-Katniss thing. Hmmm...that was kinda a downer.

This is kind of off-subject, but I just read a Catching Fire article in an Entertainment magazine, and all the costumes looked, I don't know, better.

Sorry, I don't. I read it in the magazine itself...if you googled it you could probably find it.
Also, I just discovered the director is the same person who directed I Am Legend, and I loved that movie. So I'm kind of happy:)
