The Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom
question
What did you think of this book?
I know this is listed as a children's book, but I can tell you that as an adult, I absolutely loved it! This book was the funniest thing I've read in years!
Children's book? As if. It is so much more. :) I thoroughly enjoyed it and also got my siblings hooked on it. It had us laughing hysterically at points. I am always pleased to find children's books that don't play down to children.
What I say is, if you would enjoy it, most of the time, so would a kid. Make it fun! And this book did just that. :)

I checked this book out from the library when it first came out to share with my son. He and I were laughing so hard that my older daughter picked it up and read it in one sitting. The best part: she laughed out loud reading it to herself. This book and its sequel THE HEROES GUIDE TO STORMING THE CASTLE are fun for all ages and genders.
It was a good fun time with enjoyable characters and a unique brand of wit. I loved it.
This book was so cute and funny, everyone should give it a try!!!!!!
I loved this book! It was so fun and crazy and I love that they tell the princes untold stories but still don't leave out the girls. They just make the princesses more interesting and powerful!
Ah, it was actually quite fun. Even if the male characters came over a bit overly hurt about their female counterparts outshining them. Or how does the bird's right activist say? 'I feel uncomfortable if we are not about me'.
I guess the book only accidentally points that out.

This is such a funny book! I really enjoyed reading it. It's really funny, it has amazing characters, and I just love the theme of it.
