Amanda Gabbara | 2 comments The Hunger Games was a phenomenal book/movie/series. The movie was great but the books are so interesting and detailed. I'm excited to see if they relate to the book more in the second movie, Catching Fire. If you havent read this series then you ought to start the year off by doing so.

Here is a great quote from the book:

“People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life."

The Giver is actually a really good look at what the future could look like, and if your into Sci-fye then what other perfect book to read for the upcoming new year? Its a short read, and its very interesting. Great book for the new year!
